This machine is old, being from 2015, but it does everything I need, and more. Not only that, but it's a Mac. I cut my teeth on Macs, but when I lived in India, by the sea, they kept breaking down. I changed to Dells, and they worked fine and seemed more durable. (I have read that this was a problem with older Mac laptops). Now that I live back in the US, it's really fun to go back to using a Mac. I don't know if the general public is aware of what bargains these renewed machines can be. This is my third renewed machine, and I have never had any trouble with any of them. Since I'm not really a power user, a 10-year-old laptop has all the power I need. These machines have all been under $200, and I could never find a new one with as much power for that price, especially a Mac, so I'm quite happy.

I think this is a great program through Amazon. If you are looking for a good computer. You had better act fast while this program is in place. I was skeptical about buying a MacBook Computer at this price but I took a chance. The MacBook is great. It is working fine without any problems so far. I have only had it two days so far but very few scratches, clean appearance, all the keys are functioning correctly, charges well, battery lasts long. I definitely recommend using this program to get yourself a laptop if you are considering it. I only said a “Good computer” in the title because it is manufactured in 2014 and this is the year 2022 now but I still recommend this product and program. Thank you Amazon. 🙏🏽🙋🏽‍♂️👌🏽

At first, I was pleased with the computer but then when I went on my first zoom call, I found out that the mic didn’t work. I had also bought a card reader to plug into the USB-C plug that did not work, but I assumed it was the fault of the Card reader and not the computer. There was also a problem with the computer continuing to chime like I was re-plugging it in over and over once the battery was full.When I took the computer to Apple, they told me that the charge pinging is due to a third-party glass being put on the laptop and it was not registering it in sleep mode, so it was constantly overcharging. They told me that not only did the mic not work but the ports don’t work so I can’t plug in an external mic or anything else into the USB-C plugs. They said that there was something majorly wrong with the logic board/brain of the computer I’ve been asking Amazon and this seller to just swap out computers. I don’t even wanna refund. I just want a working laptop. I contacted the seller before the return window closed, but they did not get back to me with options until after that window closed and then refused to do anything. First negative review I’ve ever left an money down the drain.

The Mac book over all works really good I came in good condition except a few scratches and a little dent on the outside, the screen looks good and colour looks very good on the Mac book. BUT if you see that Fedex is shipping it to your house be prepared to fight with them if you are not home to sign for the package. I told them THREE times to drop it off somewhere I can go to pick it up and they kept bringing it to my house I ended up having to go to the distribution centre to pick it up so if you are unable to sign for the Mac book make sure to nonstop tell them where to drop it off.

Came EXTREMELY FAST ! I ordered it 01/22/2026 right before the snow storm and it arrived today 01/24/2026. It’s in PERFECT condition, came with a brand new charger, and came with a full battery. I’m just going to play with it right now to see how well the hard drive and apps and I’ll get back to you with an update.

Product works great I'm glad to have purchased the Mac book for .y daughter

I wanted to try out a MacBook, since I have an iPad and an iPhone. (I have always been a PC user.). I didn't want to spend a small fortune for a new laptop, since I still find myself navigating in PC world. I read the reviews and felt a little concern at the condition of some of the laptops that had been purchased. I was also concerned about receiving one that had previously been a school's or company's computer (and that I might not be able to wipe it completely clean). Those concerns were unnecessary. The MacBook arrived in excellent condition and well-packaged. It has few minor cosmetic flaws, hardly noticeable and not at all affecting the performance of the laptop. The operating system needing updated, which was a process similar to the iPad or iPhone. What I love about Apple products is that the device doesn't go obsolete quite as fast as a PC. I completed two updates to get it to the current Mac OS Big Sur. While it took two updates, the process was seamless without even one single hiccup. The battery life is decent but not fantastic. It is running 4-5 hours before needing recharged. While it did come with a nice charging cord, I do believe it is an aftermarket and not an Apple charger; however, it still works well with the MacBook and does not demonstrate any conflicts. I love the size and clarity of the screen. 11.6 inches is perfect! It is lightweight and very portable. I am still becoming accustomed to using the apps in a Mac environment. The biggest part of the learning curve involves finding things in the Mac environment, closing applications instead of everything running in the background, and learning how to navigate in a desktop environment. Many things, however, feel somewhat intuitive since I have been an iPhone/iPad user for at least a decade. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Absolutely love this little Mac book. It arrived much quicker than expected and is in excellent condition with GREAT battery life as well. Only down side is that apple no longer updates this model but we knew that before we ordered as the seller posts enough information that you can research before purchase. Absolutely a great purchase experience would recommend!

Beyond upset. Not only was the laptop not in “new” or anywhere near new condition, it had CLEARLY been dropped multiple times. Corners bent in, scratches all over. But the worst part was the bubbled up GREY (from disgusting dirt) but it also only charges if you hold it at a certain angle. The charging port on the laptop was disgusting and had to be cleaned. Don’t waste your money.
