Perfect product! No texture, no grit mixes excellent with cold
12-24-2025 Update: This is my 4th order of this and the product has been consistant throughout. Still mixes well with my hot / cold drinks, its best in the blender or a shaker for shakes. Gives me the perfect protien amount for each day. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am in LOVE with this product!!! PLEASE MAKE THIS A 2LB TO BUY!!! It’s clean and healthy and I can have it! I have tried other protien powders and this is the best of the best I did not taste a specific flavor even in cold water and it dissolves perfectly. I did taste a hint of salt but not a difference to hate this product . Great quality, it mixes perfect with anything and I can’t wait to try it with smoothies. I add mine to my sauces and dips and protien energy balls. There is no texture, no grit I will be buying it again! I wish they offered a larger bag of it LOL 😂 thank you for an amazing product ! Super happy with it If you love pumpkin seeds you won’t be disappointed.

This Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder is the Good Stuff!
So I love seeds. Some say I eat like a bird. lol. Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, give me a bag and I will go to town on it and that bag will be empty by the end on my trip. I have a particular fancy with pumpkin seeds. I also enjoy making myself protein shakes. So when I saw pumpkin seed protein powder, I just had to try it. This Anthony's Organic is the goods. I especially appreciate the Organic & Non-GMO label they carry based on their practices of making these batches of pumpkin seed powder. Does not taste like much, but add your own spices in to flare it up. I noticed it sits well with me and my tummy on my hikes.

Great Product! No scoop provided
Great product! I really wish it came with a scoop as they are usually provided with other protein powders. After my third order of this protein powder I ordered a pack of scoops to use with it. Other than that it is exactly what I need which is low carb, no sugar, flavorless and doesn’t cause irritation to my gut while other plant based protein powders have. I’m very happy with my purchase of Anthony’s Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder.

gritty
Tasteless, because there's no sugar added, which is a good thing. so I add a banana to the smoothie to add some sweetness. Actually--it's MOSTLY tasteless, there is a slightly nutty, roasted flavor. 4 stars instead of 5 because it is gritty even though the powder seems quite fine.

Choosy Snobs Choose This!
An annoying and detailed review from a long-time consumer-- Just to clear the air-- my fellow humans; a Tablespoon is measured by DENSITY, not the size of your measuring equipment. The labeling is correct. There is no set standard for a US Tablespoon. It's the density (weight) of the product, which determines the amount per serving. Remember when people started to learn the visual difference between a pound of fat and a pound of muscle? Use a good scale, (and good sense). Plenty of companies use the leeway on the nutritional content they list per US 'guidelines', but in this case, they're not lying about the numbers. As for this product! Pros: Nutty! Works for sweet or savory mixing, and can satisfy an urge for something toasty. Good natural vitamin content, which if you know anything about pumpkin seeds, they're great for magnesium and zinc, and toasting doesn't limit much of their content. Clean ingredients, and a better value than any other companies I've found, that I'm comfortable trusting. Product is from Austria, and quality has been consistent after at least six bags, maybe more. Cons: Yes, the flavor is strong-- this isn't heavily processed pea or whey which has to be stripped down or has sweeteners. Plain pumpkin pepitas are just as strong, but have their fats to mellow them. Think adding cream to strong black coffee. This stuff is a bit bitter, but sweetens easily, with very little! I like to mix protein powder as a paste sometimes, but this is a tad intense. I find two servings (30 grams measured) to be best with two cups of liquid. Usually unsweetened vanilla almond milk and a little sweetener, sometimes a tiny splash of sugar-free coffee flavoring. Also, it can be a little gritty, but not like some other vegan proteins, and I've tried a lot! It's hardly noticeable if you mix well enough, sometimes not at all. Cons if you're looking to bulk: This isn't a one-and-done gaining protein power. You'll want at least four servings a day, which the flavor is going to get old fast. Really fast. Pros if you're looking to lose, supplement, or maintain: This is top notch. Not too much protein (excess protein converts to glucose), so if you don't get enough, or don't burn enough to need extra, this shouldn't set you overboard. The intense flavor is satisfying, and probably way more versatile than I've used it for, so far. The holidays are calling for this in muffins and breads. And a personal take: So far, I'm thrilled with it! It's the only protein which doesn't set off my allergies or stomach issues, so long as I stick to no more than two servings a day. I have a rare form of EDS, and after surgery, I couldn't handle many foods, including any other kind of protein powder. Took too many trials, but this works! A final note: Know what it is before you buy, and don't be surprised that it's strong and earthy. It's not like the old Birkenstocks and bird seed kind of earthy; its toasty and a little bitter. If you leave the bag open, or don't rinse the container with which you mix and leave it on the counter, well, think of what happens if you did the same with peanut butter. After-smell. Otherwise, if you're STILL looking for a protein powder that doesn't upset your stomach, or cause you to break out in hives, this could be the one! Seriously, I can't even handle rice protein, and not just because it goes rancid in 20 seconds, but this stuff doesn't get to me. Wishes for the company: A less intense, untoasted version at a similarly good price; an allergy friendly flavored variety (which is basically impossible, but a person can dream!)

Actually tastes good!
Mixes nicely with soy milk and actually tastes good! It gives a nutty flavor and is a very easy way to increase fiber and protein consumption. I mix 2T of this and 2T of Anthony's peanut flour into soy milk then add my cereal of choice (Heritage Flakes) every morning. I think it would only be good with certain cereals, but it seems like it could be a very versatile ingredient that would go well with banana, chocolate and many other commonly used flavors. If you're heavily supplementing protein for body building, it's so high in fiber that I think it would be hard to fully replace refined protein powders. Still, even in that case, it's probably good to have some as a way to boost protein in food you want to actually taste good.
