I absolutely love this ebook reader. Like any ebook reader, it helps me focus on the activity of reading. Where this really shines on the hardware side: - The color cover of the book you’re currently reading (along with progress) triggers me to pick up and read again. I’m reading a lot more than I did before getting this reader. - The location of the button to wakeup the device is perfectly placed to allow for me to grab it and start reading, all one handed. On the software side: - The wakeup feature is lightning quick. I can squeeze in a quick read, regardless of how little time I have. - The colored highlighting incentivizes me to highlight even more than I would normally. - I like to read more than one book at a time and swiping and switching takes a couple seconds, which is enjoyable. - The ebook format compatibility is second-to-none. - Using overdrive is a breeze. The only con that the book store is a little lacking. I would 110% buy again.

Have had this for 2-3 months and love it. Love the way colors show up on it, perfect for me as i have sensitive eyes. Brightness is perfect. Size is perfect as i can carry it around without too much hassle. Battery life is also impressive as it lasts me a week or 2 without having to charge it. Its a bit slow to respond but not to the point its is annoying. Definitely recommend for an e -reader that is not too expensive but still very easy to use

Very open ecosystem, very good quality, software is easy to use and navigate. Consistent updates, snappy enough for browsing libraries and the store. Color is there and a game changer compared to B&W, but don't expect to view high class photography. It does work very well for visual novels, though. I've only ever used the back light indoors and never really above 20%, though it's eink and if it's bright you don't need the backlight. Love the warm color filter in bed, though.

I love mine! I’ve had it since April of this year, the only thing is, I wish I would have bought the warranty. Today, some of the text was looking a bit faded. I thought it was my eyes, but nope. It’s only really evident when the back light is on. But I love the battery life, portability, and speed of it! It’s a great little device! Also, as a former Kindle user, it’s on the smaller side of e-readers. And it’s comfortable to hold with one hand! I HAD a pop socket on it, but my pup retaliated after I brushed her teeth…. Buy this, and you’ll likely read more. It’s my travel buddy, and I’ve reached my reading goal already for the year!

I have been absolutely OBSESSED with my Kobo! After finally taking the plunge into e-readers (and giving my eyes a break from screens), I couldn’t be happier with this choice. I went with Kobo because I already had a large library of EPUB files, and it’s been so easy to use. It connects to my computer like a regular USB drive- just drag and drop your files. As a first-time e-reader owner, I also want to share that the free Calibre app has been incredibly helpful for converting and sending files. Another feature I love is the adjustable lighting/dimming strip along the left edge! It makes it so easy to change the brightness wherever I am, even when reading in the dark. The device also remembers exactly where you left off, so picking up your book again is seamless. I can’t wait to keep discovering more books on it!

I have been seeking an e-reader for some time. After thorough research and comparison with the Kindle, I opted for the Kobo. I appreciate its ability to fit comfortably in my inner jacket pocket. The color quality meets my expectations for an e-reader, and its lightweight design makes it hardly noticeable when carried. Reading on this device is very comfortable, closely resembling the experience of reading a physical book. In contrast to the Kindle, I can borrow books from my local library using my Kobo, which is a wonderful feature! Additionally, I enjoy the reading statistics it provides, such as the estimated time to complete a book based on my reading pace. This e-reader is an excellent choice, especially considering its affordability.

I have bought these for each of my younger kids (8 and 5). Their time spent reading has skyrocketed. Library integration allows me to add books to their devices easily and quickly without having to worry about returning books on time! I can load books before a long road trip and they are entertained for hours while exercising their brains. Color pictures make it so much more enjoyable for them to read. I love that there is no paying extra to avoid ads. Battery life is great. The size is perfect for the kids to be able to sit and hold comfortably for long stretches reading. Every member of our family has a color Kobo ereader (two of these and four Libra Colours for the older family members) and just about every day I find myself thinking what great purchases these were. I am hard pressed to come up with anything else that makes me think that so often.

setup is a pain, why do i need an account for offline use? why am I forced to do this? putting books on it is a pain, the pirates already won. Making it difficult to put books on your device on purpose is just anti user at this point. using it is such a chore as EVERY action takes 10-15s to registrar, need to zoom? wait 15s. need to change page, wait 15s. need to change books, wait 15s. the search function can take so long that the device goes to sleep before it is done searching a 400 page book.

Amazing ereader, the colour highlighting and covers are beautiful. The screen is really crisp in my opinion and I used to have a paper white. Light adjusts by swiping down side of screen is really helpful and on/off button is located on back so it doesn’t always turn off. Being able to connect to the library is exciting. While kobo doesn’t have kindle unlimited they have their own kobo plus and vip membership which I like and enjoy using.

Me ha encantado el Kobo Clara, es perfecto para leer en digital, no pesa mucho, es de un tamaño perfecto para que puedas leer bien y llevarlo a todos lados. Los colores están muy bien, te deja subrayar en varios colores y poner notas, aunque me gustaría que tuviera emoticones. La biblioteca de Kobo no es tan amplia como la de Kindle, pero pocas veces no he encontrado el libro que quiero leer, si quieres un lector digital y no gastar tanto, me parece una excelente opción; además, poco a poco han ido ampliando el catálogo.
