What I Liked - So convenient and easy to use - no measuring or mess! - Pleasant fragrance (Linen, Chamomile, and White Rose in this case) - Cleans clothes as well as my usual soap nuts (though I haven't tested on heavily soiled laundry) - Eco-friendly - recyclable packaging, biodegradable strips, and free of many harsh chemicals - Pre-scored down the middle of each strip for easy halving The So-So's - Not sure how effective they will be on heavily soiled laundry - may need to use more strips - What Didn't Work For Me - While I appreciate them being free of many chemicals, I would still prefer a 100% natural laundry cleaning solution Advertiser's Claims Examined - {List of chemicals the product is free of} This is a good thing, especially for people with sensitive skin or allergies. - {No plastic, recyclable packaging, biodegradable laundry strips} The eco-friendly credentials seem on point. - {No measuring, No Mess} No measuring or mess is definitely true - very convenient. - {Cruelty-free and vegan}: Great to know for those of us that value these aspects. - {Suitable for both hand-washing and washing machines on all temperatures and cycles}: This certainly seems to be the case for these laundry strips. - {Our expert blend of plant-based ingredients and ProClean Technology works to remove even the most stubborn grime…} Seems to work well for light to moderately soiled laundry, but I haven't tested them on heavily soiled items. - {Our Laundry Strips Fully Dissolve In Water At All Temperatures} Can confirm the strips dissolve easily in both hot and cold water. My Overall Sentiment I liked the Lab Co. Laundry Strips. They are convenient to use, have a pleasant scent, and cleaned my clothes well for the 1-strip test wash (approx. 5-6kg load for 59 min at 40°), although I would use 2 strips for a full 10 kg load though. The eco-friendly aspects are a big plus for me, and something I particularly look for when purchasing laundry detergent. However, I would still prefer a 100% natural solution, even though soap nuts are a bit of a faff! For people looking for an easy-to-use and eco-friendly laundry detergent alternative, these are indeed a great option.

I’ve never tried laundry detergent sheets before, so was really happy to be able to test these. You get 32 sheets in the box….for light machine washing or hand-washing, you tear the sheet in half along the perforations, and for heavy loads you use a whole sheet - so potentially you can get 64 loads per box, or at the very least you’ll get 32 loads per box. Firstly, I have to say how amazing these smell - I tested the Chamomile and White Rose strips, and the scent is sooo lovely and fresh… if you wanted to perfectly epitomise clean washing blowing in the summer breeze, this would be the smell! And they wash really well, too!… I tested these first time on a fleece blanket in a washing machine at 30 degrees- I used half a sheet, and although I noticed it didn’t foam as much as my normal laundry detergent would, the blanket came out clean, smelling great, and incredibly soft. I also sent my son off on his hiking holiday with several of these- for anyone going on holiday, and especially where weight and bulk are important, these are amazing- they take up next to no luggage space and are incredibly light. And eco-wise, I love that these are zero plastic- so better for the environment- plus they are compact for storing. All in all, I just can’t fault these - they’re competitively priced and surprisingly good - and I would definitely recommend.

These LabCo. Laundry Detergent Sheets have very good eco-friendly contents and production. They are non-bio and smell nice – the fragrance is linen, chamomile and white rose. This small box has enough sheets in it for 64 washes. Each sheet can be torn in half along the perforated line and half of a sheet is enough for a wash load. You can use them for machine and hand washing and I have tried them on both. They certainly cleaned the clothes plus left a faint summery smell on the fabric. The sheets are very easy to use with no chance of spillage. I am not sure how they would perform against really dirty clothes but so far to good with the lightly soiled clothes, bedding and towels that I wash on a day to day basis.

This little box of non-bio laundry detergent strips currents cost £12 and does 64 loads so is comparable to some of big brand washing powders you would get at the supermarket. These washing strips promise to be eco-friendly, plastic free, biodegradable, cruelty free and vegan, and free from many chemical nasties present in standard washing powder. I have the Baby & Kids option which has the Chamomile and White Rose fragrance. There are many different fragrance options available, all non-bio and even a fragrance-free option for those with particularly sensitive skin sadly not all currently available on Amazon. These concentrated strips come in a nice small light weight box; they need to stored in dry conditions as you would do with standard washing powder. One piece of washing soap is about 1mm thick, feels like flexible card and smells like soap. Each piece has perforation down the middle so can easily be torn into 2 separate strips. 1 strip cover up 5kg load of lightly soiled laundry. 2 strips cover up to 7kg of heavy soiled laundry. The strip can be either placed in the laundry drawer or what I do it place is directly in the drum before adding the laundry. I tried these on their own without fabric conditioner. They cleaned the laundry well and left a faint scent. Well worth a try if looking for a plant based eco-friendly non-bio washing soap. Love the fact that there are multiple scents and even non-perfumed varieties to choose from.
