The grinder does a consistent grind every time so far. Number of settings and ability to adjust grind time are added benefits to get great tasting coffee. Unit appears well constructed. Grind bowl being anti-static eliminates the clinging grind that other grinders have. Grind also does not have any powder residue seen with some other grinders. Over-all very satisfied with performance, appearance and compact design. Highly recommend!

As far as coffee grinders go this one is as quiet as one can get. Nice consistency and easy to use. If I had one complaint, during the grinding, the removable container wants to walk toward the exit but not enough to let any coffee come out behind the container. Thought it might the first time but never lost a grain of coffee. I had a couple of thin cabinet bumpers that I stuck on the bottom that helps the container to stay put. Very nice design overall and does a great job.

Its beautiful. Works great for espresso. And is as easy to use as possible. The only drawback is that there is a bit of difficulty to pour the newly ground coffee into use. But still well worth it.

Pro: I really like the digital timer, it makes grinding daily much more precise. I have a cup one from mochamaster and only grind for one cup at a time, this is a great product for that use, the grind size is very consistent. The anti static works well, but dont ever wash it if you want it to stay anti static (wipe only). It is also VERY quiet, I am impressed at how quiet it is compared to my previous version. Con: The container is WAY too small if you are grinding for a 10 or 12 cup machine (why 4 stars not 5) you will need multiple batches, there is zero reason for it to be so small there is plenty of unused room on the base for the container to be wider. The hopper is also a bit smaller than I like, I have to fill it too often. It also has an annoying rubberish plug to seal it up that seems pointless and it just gets in the way, I removed it almost instantly. This is my second conical grinder from shardor, the first one had an issue, and shardor was great about getting a replacement. Very good customer service. Other than the first "con" the rest are nitpicking. Im quite happy with is and would not hesitate to buy it again, from previous experience with customer service from these folks they are really excellent at standing behind their products and take care of their customers, I wish more companies were as good.

This was a purchase, not an item received for review. We grind coffee daily and this has been a TOP performer since the day it was delivered. Grind quality is consistent, with multiple settings to get the perfect grind whether for drip, pour over, Espresso, or AeroPress brewing. The adjustable grind timer allows you to fill the container to a precise level without over filling. For a drip grind, we've found two 40 second grinds fill the container to about 1/5" below the lid. Neither of the two negative comments below are serious enough for us to rate the grinder below 5 stars. * The Anti-static container is a nice feature, though if doing more than one container full in succession, the static builds up with each refill, so don't expect a dust free session with multiple batches. * There is also a small quantity of ground coffee is left in the grinder body so you need to tip it forward and tap it a couple times to clear all of the grounds. We place a sheet of paper below the grinder to catch the "leftovers" so we can pour them in the bag after grinding. All around this gets a definite BUY rating from us.

This is an outstanding coffee grinder. I just threw out my Cuisinart coffee grinder that I've had for 7 years. Comparing the two, the Shardor is much quieter, finer adjustments and more controlled size of the grind, and consistent in the quantity of ground coffee it produces. I had not heard of the Shardor brand before, but this is one outstanding grinder.

I just bought this grinder to use for making my own espresso grounds since the grounds I was buying were going stale before I could use them all. I have only used this a handful of times, but I mostly find it to be really decent quality, and very easy to use! It is still a bit noisy for my taste, but I will also say that I don't have to plug my ears to use it like I did with my previous coffee grinder. It does a GREAT job grinding really fine espresso, in fact it does almost too good a job, and I had to set the fineness lower than the suggested setting because my espresso machine was not strong enough to push the water through the finer grounds. I only grind as much as I need at one time, but from the looks of it the hopper would probably hold an average small bag of coffee beans in the top without any trouble. My only REAL complaint - and the reason for four stars - is that the container that catches the grounds does not fit snugly in place and actually vibrates forward and misaligns, which seems like a pretty obvious design flaw considering you wouldn't be able to start the grinder and walk away. I have to stand and hold the catching container the whole time in order for it to stay put. That being said, it grinds quickly (I do about 3 tablespoons of beans at a time in 25-30 seconds) so waiting and holding the bottom receptacle is a small price to pay for how well this works. It does exactly what I needed it to do, and only took me about three tries to get everything just right, so the price is very reasonable compared to a lot of similar products.
