bought and sent to 93 yr old aunt as a Thinking of You card in real life... cousin chewed me out for sending such a large can ... i later tasted pie from can as they opened right away... made two pies and froze rest of mix and got in freezer.. tasted fresh to me... it was on sale too.. really bought as a thinking of you product no for the family to delve into right away... it was worth buying and large nursing homes or hospitals or resident care or churches should get product and just have a get together day !! it is a BIG CAN !!! preheat them ovens.....

I bought this because my dog was having stomach issues and this fit the bill perfectly. Such a great value for a large amount. I ended up just dividing them into plastic sandwich baggies and froze them until needed. Our two dogs ate them fine, loved it, and probably got close to 10 bags worth of frozen pumpkin.

Dont buy those expensive pumpkin supplements and cans specifically meant for pets. This is %100 pure pumpkin. No salt, no sugar, nothing added. We freeze extra in inexpensive 3oz paper cups. Great money savings without sacrificing nutrition

I thought I was getting 12 cans, but I love the brand and froze the sauce in portions that I mostly use in spaghetti to ward off heartburn, put in scrambled eggs, in my dog and cat food to calm their tummy or just give to as a treat and occasionally to make pies. There is no real taste and quality is great.

I’m not sure why you would need this much pumpkin purée unless you’re baking multiple pies or you have dogs. I have dogs. I saved some in my refrigerator and portioned out baggies to freeze the rest. Much cheaper than buying the cans in smaller sizes and easier. Opening was tricky, our can opener broke, but we improvised. Recommend for any dog/puppy owners who supplement.

I've ordered this three times, twice the cans came damaged, and I don't mean a "little ding" I mean, first time the entire side was caved in (though box was in fine shape, so am wondering if it left the warehouse that dinged! a side was a quarter of the way in, it wasn't a "little dent" Second time, box looked like crap, but can was PERFECT inside, NO PROBLEMS Third time the box had a tiny ding but the ding in the bottom of this third can looks like it was made by dropping a railroad tie on it-- two horrible dings in the bottom rim, with two horrible dings on the other side, so no way to make it match up with the tiny ding in the box. So, the horribly dented cans I'm getting seem to be released from Amazon because the boxes really aren't arriving that dinged and our drivers are always courteous with our packages. At this point very happy with the product -- when it arrives unscathed or at least usable-- but for the trashed cans I'm getting-- I'm very unhappy with them because I trash them for safety-- it looks like the rim/seal has been compromised. Not sure I'll order a fourth time. I may wait for some more recent reviews to come in with GOOD cans. Otherwise, I don't want to order out of the same batch if an entire truckload of them is damaged and they are still selling them like that. ***Update feb 2021*** I continue to get this item on auto ship and the past few shipments have come in perfect. No dings, so the great product has been arriving in great shape!

There was a delay on last 3 cans and I never received them. I received rest of my order though. Not sure what happened.

Great product at a great price. So good I bought 3 cans. We bought this at the recommendation of our veterinarian. This opens a whole new market for Amazon and should increase their sales. Our Jack Russell puppies sometimes get blocked up and have difficulty pooping. Our vet said feed them pumpkin every day and the problem will go away. Guess what! The problem is no longer a problem. What a simple cure. You can use the product to make pumpkin pie too, a great side benefit!
