I have the same issue so I don't think you are doing anything wrong. One side fits tighter than the other.

Will this band also fit an inspire2 fitbit tracker? are the bands interchangeable from an inspire to the luxe fitbit?

Hello, no I don't think so. I had an Inspire HR & then got a Luxe & the bands are not interchangeable. The Inspire bands are attached via pins, the Luxe bands easily clip into the tracker unit, which I like better. One note of caution, some of the NON-Fit-Bit bands, do not stay clipped in as they should. Read the reviews. Some users said that the bands came un-clipped & they lost their tracker. Spend a bit more $$'s for a band that will stay attached to your tracker.
