Took mine from the family home in '88, bought a replacement in '03, taken to college by one of my kids in '23. I needed a replacement. These are precise, sharp and don't clog. Get the original Jonas and do not settle for a pennies cheaper substitute.

I bought these for my three children (adults) for Christmas. I have used Jonas peelers for years - a simple but highly effective design that is a pleasure to use and gives great results speedily and efficiently. These, however, leave me suspicious that they are not 'made in Sweden' as described. The Chinese packaging and address label details give the game away, and there is no Jonas branding on the peeler itself, whereas my originals carry the Jonas brand on the handle. The swivel action is rough and the quality is poor with noticeable differences in construction compared with my original, such as the tight spindle rivet in the end of the handle and poorly aligned blade guides at the other, which make them inferior to use. In my opinion these are clearly a Chinese knock-off and yet the price is similar to the genuine article. Returned for refund.

No need to purchase any others when you have the best. Simple, clean and effective. No gimmicks - gets that peeling job done. From experience - stays sharp and lasts a long time.
