Josef Seibel Women's Ida Flat

Beautiful shoe. Well make and excellent design. I was a little skeptical because of european sizes. I am pretty much a perfect 7. I usually buy Ecco shoes which are also quality shoes but sizing can be a problem. I usually order a 38 which is considered 7-71/2 . They have been to large so I didn't know about the sizing of these shoes. I took a chance and ordered the 37 5-61/2 in these shoes and they fit comfortable. They are a little rough inside and since I intend to wear these shoes with no socks it was a concern . I wanted to make sure they weren't going to be a problem. I put on a thin sock and have been wearing them around the house to break in the roughness on the inside. They feel great and look awesome and are exceptionally well made. I was very excited about the fit since I have a problem with european sizing.Highly recommended if you are looking for an attractive sandal-like shoe for the nicer weather and can be worn on most occasions. I will wear them to work as well as with my jeans..

I had to return these because they irritated my feet in a couple of spots but I really wish I could have kept them. They are very well made and look great! I am having annoying foot problems right now, and have to be extra picky about shoes, otherwise I would have loved to keep them. When my feet are feeling better, I'll probably buy a pair.

Nice cut and color and a very comfortable footbed. I have a high instep and arch, and they often require that I size up. While I wish the cut for the width were slightly more generous, these sandals are incredibly comfortable, and I think that the places where the leather is rubbing against my foot will adjust. I walked several miles yesterday on my first outing and had no blisters. I recommend!

I purchased these sandals a couple years ago because a tan version of this style has held up well for nearly 10 years. While I thought it was OK that these newer black sandals were less padded than the earlier model the fact that the soles have cracked at the ball of my foot is unacceptable. I am a big fan of Josef Seibel shoes and have at least four other pairs that have held up well. I don't wear sandals all year long so the fact that these are in worse shape than the ones I've had for nearly 10 years is disappointing. The next pair of similar style black sandals I purchase will be a different brand and likely cost half as much.

I was looking for a casual shoe that would be comfortable for walking, look cute, and is versatile, and am very happy with this purchase. My feet are 9.5 narrow, and I purchased the 9 - 9.5 (Euro 40) size, which fit well. The adjustable velcro strap is secure and works well. They are not too clunky, and in fact look very nice. They will be good for wearing with jeans, capris, and casual skirts. Comfortable for walking, too, which is extremely important to me.

I first purchase these shoes in my size - 38. The left one was way too small and the right fit perfectly. So I sent for the 39's. The left one fitsperfectly and the right one is way to big. I realize feet size can vary between left and right but these are extreme. I kept the shoes and added two inserts. I will have to ad another insert to make the right shoe feel comfortable. They are nice shoes thus I kept them.

I am a big fan of Joseph Seibel shoes but these have fallen short. First off the sizing runs smaller than the 6 other pairs I have owned. I also doubt that they will hold up as well. They are quite flimsy. The closure strap that runs across the top of the shoe is way to short.

Very nice shoe. The sole felt great. Nice arch support. Although this brand generally fits me well, this style was very narrow on me. Sorry to return them because I really liked them. Amazon refunded within a few hours after I dropped the package at the UPS store, so excellent service on the return..

Usual Siebel quality and comfort.
