ZWILLING Opus 45-Piece Flatware Set

Very nice set. Looks sleek and modern without compromising utility. I don’t own a dishwasher so I’ve been handwashing everything and haven’t had any problems. I’ve only owned them for a few days and will report back if they show signs of wear and tear.

Looks great out of the box. The satin finish has a high end feel and the flatware has a nice weight and balance in the hand.

I purchased this set about a month and a half ago for $67.50. I wanted to find a good looking flatware set that was well constructed, and was made of 18/10 stainless steel, for better luster and shine. I didn't want to spend a fortune, but I didn't want something that looked and felt cheap. These were just about perfect. A couple things I've noticed: The included care instructions warn about leaving the flatware in the dishwasher after the wash cycle is complete. I've noticed that they will spot if you do not follow these instructions. I usually run the dishwasher on my way out to work in the morning, so they sit in there for about 8 hours. When I get home, I use a microfiber cloth to wipe them down, which makes them shine like new. So far, no rust spots whatsoever. The care instructions also warn about certain detergent types (such as lemon-based). I use the Bright Green brand detergent packs, which are lemon-based, but I have not noticed any adverse affects thus far. The handles on this set are quite narrow, so if you load them into a flatware rack in your dishwasher, they may slip through the holes (at least they do on my dishwasher). No biggie. I just load them in handle-side up now. All in all, this is a great set, and I couldn't find a better deal anywhere online (or offline for that matter).

Really well made. Used a ton by very busy family of 4. Dishwasher cleaned for at least 10cycles. Holds up well. No spots (we have house water softner , use cascade platinum and jet dry). Other combos leave spots which is annoying. Like others have shared, must put handle facing Up otherwise it will fall through dishwasher utensil basket ..annoying. I do wish the handles were a wee bit wider. Salad fork is also VERY small compared to other brands like Mikasa 18/20 I had prior that held up for 10yrs. My middle school kids are the ones that use them. Id love to buy more of just the larger forks only

This is a quality set - it’s heavy and balanced in the hand and it has a beautiful shine to it, and stands up beautifully to daily wear.

I moved into a new apartment and wanted to upgrade my silverware I’ve had since college. I love this modern design. What sets this set apart from different sets is the inclusion of a sugar shell & butter knife and serving ware. I’ve enjoyed it for my personal use, and I can’t wait to host people and use this!

Love this set. Bought one for my sister- doesn’t dull. Everyone compliments me on how well they work and how well they fit into your hands.
