Why is this listed for $100 over msrp?

MSRP is $199, this is now listed on Amazon for $200 over MSRP. Talk about price gouging!

Does the udr support line rate (1gbps) lan/wan forwarding without the ids/ips features enabled?

Although this is a great router with all the features of the UDM-Pro I find it is slightly lacking in processing power. If you truly need full throughput then spend the extra $200 and get the UDM-Pro. I have 1 gbps service and only get around 700 mbps throughput. This unit is more of a convenience / price factor with WiFi built in than a heavy hitter.

Wifi supports 2.4gbps at 5ghz and LAN supports 700mbps, is this correct?

Hi, yes, 2.4 gbps on the 5ghz band. Ubiquiti's data sheet does not mention a throughput speed for LAN, so I am not able to confirm 700mbs, sorry. Hope this helps some.

I'm seeing some complaints about the noise. Is this really an issue?

I can only speak for mine, but it's perfectly silent
