It leaves a coating on my hair
Redken discontinued Redken Ringlet, so I bought this and it is nothing like Ringlet except maybe the smell. It smells good but it doesn’t go on without leaving an invisible residue that I can also feel the next day. Ringlet was soft on my hair and kept out frizz while holding curl this is not the same. For my bleached long wavy hair this product is only good for putting on while wet to air dry before I curl with an iron or blow dry but it does increase the pull while combing and there’s still an issue of residue. I don’t like it.

Has a horrible chemical smell. It dries out the hair. Worst product ever used by Redkin. I was trying to find something to replace their discontinued Outshine. This is NOT even close. STAY AWAY FROM IT.

Not what I was expecting for a $30 product
Bottle came used with residue and on pump. The top was all chewed up and the “expiration” date was hand written on a label. Very unprofessional for a $30 beauty product.

Not for defined curls/waves.
I have thick, wavy hair. Since redken discontinued their ringlet lotion, I've been trying to find a replacement. This is definitely not it. It does not provide definition. My hair was frizzy after it dried. When I brushed my hair out before bed, it is heavy & gross feeling. I will have to wash this stuff out. That was a lot of money to go straight into the garbage. I guess I will keep on searching.

Horrible strong smelling
I was hoping I would love this as much as curvaceous curls. If I could give this a 0 I would. The smell is horrible- it is like a strong Lavender powder carpet cleaner. I used it once and I cannot handle the horrible fragrance of it. I guess I will have to try a different product.

This is NOT like the previous formula
I used Redken Curl 07 for years. Redken stopped making it and came out with this instead, so I switched. This is AWFUL. It is okay the day you put it in your hair, but the next day your hair is extremely oily and very clumpy. It is hard to even run a brush through your hair. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I bought 2 bottles of the stuff and I can't return it now. I didn't use it until I ran out of the old formula.

Please bring back the original Curvaceous!
This is not the same as Redkin Curvaceous. The curls (in my case waves), look ok right after it’s applied for maybe a few hours then the waves get weighted down and hair feels so dirty. I miss the curvaceous line. Please, Redkin, bring back your original formula. It was the best.

Don’t waste your money
I have very curly hair this product doesn’t hold curl, or define, my curls look frizzy and dry… I’ll stick with bed head curl cream for half the price.

I love this product for my curly hair. I have wavy to curly hair and it really provides definition without stickiness. Light fragrance as well.

I used to buy Kerastase leave in cream for curly hair. It was discontinued a few years back. I have been since looking for a replacement that would not be crunchy or frizzy. I finally found this Redken product that gives loose spiral curls (my natural curl). It also leaves the hair very soft. Love it!

Great Redken product which I constantly use.

Went on nice, diffused well, but looked greasy right away. By mid day my curls had fallen and by day 2 my hair looked gross. I have always been able to get 2-3 days out of my curls. Not with this.
