Deadly Justice: Volume 4 (DS Jack Mackinnon Crime Series) Paperback – 18 July 2013

I have to admit to having this author grow on me.It took me a little while to understand the dynamics within the team together with the hero’s place within it. After reading this, the fourth in the series, I’m really enjoying the way the story lines are developing.Looking forward to the next episode.

This is the 4th in the series, getting to know all the little habits of the other detectives and their life's.I did guess who the killer was this time but still an enjoyable read.

Another excellent story in the DS Jack MacKinnon series. All the usual characters and a very good and unique storyline. Kept me gripped from start to finish.Looking forward to reading more in the series.

I have enjoyed all of this series so far and this was another good story. The ending was a wee bit of an anti- climax which stopped it from getting 5 stars. Even so it kept me engrossed throughout and look forward to the next in the series.

I really enjoy the Karen Hart series by this author so decided to try her other series hoping for more of the same. I found this to be an enjoyable read but the magics not quite there for me just yet. Good characters that I am sure will grow on me and solid police procedural plot.A late summer heatwave seems to have triggered an unusually high number of suicides.As the dead bodies pile up, DS Jack Mackinnon and the rest of MIT realise things aren’t as straightforward as they seem, and when similar letters are found at the scene of each ‘suicide,’ Mackinnon is convinced they are dealing with a serial killer. A killer who is determined to deliver his own deadly justice.This was a good read and the signs were there for me towards the end that I am finally feeling connected to this series.

Never worked this one out. Usually I can work it out before then end but this one had me guessing the whole time. Fantastically written and a very gripping story
