Grab bar is extremely small light weight, and ineffective to be a steady bar. The Seller does not advertise that his return policy has strict conditions /constraints to get a full refund . The seller also does not advertise on his page that the customer must pay 20% restocking fee to return the item. Also not advertised on the seller’s page , seller does not provide prepaid shipping to return the item and customer must pay for the return shipping cost . This is NOT a hassle free service by a seller selling cheap ineffective products. Buyer Beware

I recently installed this safety handle for my grandma to use when getting out of the shower, and it's been a fantastic addition. The handle is incredibly sturdy and well-constructed, providing a secure grip for her. Installation was straightforward, and the handle fits perfectly in our bathroom. Since adding it, my grandma feels much safer and more confident when exiting the shower. The peace of mind this safety handle provides is invaluable. Knowing that my grandma has a reliable support to hold onto reduces the risk of slips and falls significantly. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to enhance bathroom safety for their loved ones. It's a simple yet highly effective solution that ensures safety and independence.

I bought this to help my wife navigate the step outside our back door. She uses a cane and steps through the door sideways and needs something to hang onto, and I'm not as stable as I used to be. When this item arrived, I actually thought it was a mistake. The package was so tiny - small enough that I imagined this grab bar being for a playhouse! Turns out it is ideal for our needs. Unlike the brand name grab bars that are welded together to meet ADA standards, you have to assemble the mounting flanges onto this bar before it is installed. The hardware provided is of good quality. The wrench supplied is not hardened tool steel and began to strip when I put full force on it, but the bolts tightened securely. The bar itself is of a small diameter - barely the size of my thumb - and I thought it might be too small to grip tightly, but it fits my wife's smaller hands well and I have no problem getting a firm grip with my big meat hooks - there is enough room between the bar and the mounting surface for my knuckles. Another difference between this and the name brands is that the covers don't snap or screw on over the mounting flanges. They rely on rubber (silicone?) gaskets around the bar to hold them in place (see pix). It is currently 23°F outside here in Michigan and the rubber seems to remain supple enough to stay put after installation. We'll see how it does overnight. Instructions for this item are clear, written in English and quite simple. If you have any experience with tools, you should have no problem with installation with or without the instructions. The tools I used were the aforementioned substandard hex wrench supplied, a cordless drill with a 9/32" drill bit (for pre-drilling the screw holes in our wooden door frame) and a cordless driver with a #2 Phillips bit. It took about 10 minutes and the installed bar is rock solid, functions as it should and looks nice. [You might be able to drive the screws into soft wood like pine without pre-drilling, but I didn't want to risk snapping the heads off the screws as I have done with the included hardware on previous projects.]

As described, and well made. Small and unobtrusive, it works very well where I just needed a steadying spot. Helps keep me safe and mobile. Yippee.

I needed a grab bar on the wall by the toilet to assist mom. This was the perfect length. I had it installed on the wall that has tile so this was done by a handyman. She likes the texture on the bar because it prevents the hand from slipping.
