Mara Labs BerbElite | 350mg Berberine HCL & Broccoli Seed Complex for Increase Bioavailability | 30 Vegan Capsules

Kept seeing this on Instagram and decided to try it in conjunction to starting Keto. I took 2 at dinner with my meal and the following morning took 2 and fasted and I had small ketones already on my Keto ketone strip. The claim of reducing sugar in the body with its bioavailability of mixing berberine and its broccoli really impressed me. My weight loss gains have never been this significant. Will recommend to my keto friends!!!!

Berbelite is one more terrific supplement in the Brocelite family from Mara Labs. I have been taking it morning and night, and trust it's effectiveness to help me stay well. It has given my immune system a boost, and improved my gut health. I haven't gotten sick since I have been taking it. It's easy to take, and I have peace knowing it is from such a trusted company. I know it is bioavailable to my body. I am also a big fan of Brocelite with Curcumin, and know Berbelite is a great compliment to it. I have my kid taking Brocelite as well!

We will see how it does. Seems to be making some progress.

Their claim is “Take 1 or 2 pills in the morning, be in ketosis by noon”. I’m on day 6 and it has never tested anywhere but zero. (With the litmus sticks). There is no way to communicate with the company. It is not eligible for return They were $50. Don’t waste your money

So like many others I've been experimenting with Berberine and my blood glucose levels. I have tried 3 other types so far and this is my 4th. General results have been a definitely lowering of my glucose levels. Enough that I've completely removed one of my meds from the daily routine. If I'm eating relatively healthy my glucose levels will be between 84-95 fasting with Metformin. I take ~500-600mg ONCE per day 30 min before my one meal with meaningful carbs in it. Removing Berberine results in fasting glucose levels that creep back up to ~115-130. I've tested this numerous times. Using that as the baseline, I gave BerbElite a try. The dosage is 2x pills resulting in ~350mg of berberine with a 30 day supply. This is different than the other brands which recommend 3x a day for a total of ~1500-1800mg of berberine (I only take it once as noted above). Results? I'm seeing slightly elevated glucose versus the larger doses with ~100-110 fasting levels which means I'm not getting enough Berberine 30-45min before my one carb laden meal. I tried taking 3 pills instead to give me ~525mg of berberine and my glucose then lowered into the expected range. Conclusion? It has Berberine and it works but it doesn't provide enough versus other brands that have 500-600mg per pill to achieve the efficacy I need. I would need to take at least 3 of these before a meal to achieve the same results as 1x of the 500-600mg pills. This then leads into the cost of this supplement. It is only a 30 day supply that costs $50USD at the time of this review and gives you much less than other brands while still gram for gram working the same as their Berberine. Unless you are seeking Broccoli Seed Complex specifically or cost is no object, you would be better served looking elsewhere. They do work like Berberine is supposed to but they are very pricey overall. 3/5
