Arrived packaged in a nice little tin with an extension cord, splitter, a small clip for attaching the cable to your collar (i guess) and a selection of different sized tips, including a pair of memory foam as well as silicone. Thought i would try something a little different after my Hyperx cloud headset stopped working after just a few months. Being a bit of a sim racing geek and just for comfort/convenience i wanted to try some in-ear buds rather than standard headphones, and the geek in me thought race car drivers use ear buds so opted to get some just to try and squeeze a little bot more immersion out of the games. Firstly, the sound quality is great, especially considering the price, easily comparable to any (more expensive) headsets i have used previously. Not sure how well they would work regarding Call of Duty type games where hearing footsteps is kinds important but in driving games i can hear cars approaching from behind good enough to know to hold my line. Another thing i like is they are magnetic and just makes it a bit easier when taking them out or putting them on. The reason for 4 stars is the mic is bad, real bad. Terrible constant hissing in the background and had people mention it when trying to communicate online. Tried in both the 3.5mm socket in my pc soundcard as well as with a usb soundcard and results were the same. Saying that, for the price you have a compact, comfy set of earbuds with a nice long lead which pack a very good sound and even after buying a half decent mic for voice comms still works out cheaper than a lot of 'gaming headsets'. Not ideal as wanted an 'all in one' package (souund and mic in one unit) but for the comfort and sound it's a hit i am willing to take.

Does everything I need them to, comfortable and good sound

Noise cancelling: Not totally! Bass response: Ample - but not what I would define as lo-bass quality. They do work well with music media but I would probably choose a more expensive brand for hi-def music quality. Surround Definition: Superb Gaming sound: the very little bass presence actually is a plus! These ear buds pick up all the tones (footsteps, etc) that are usually being ‘swamped’ by the bass and obviously lost to usual audibility when in the heat of the action. Microphone: Again lacking in tonal quality (according to my fellow gamers) but this leads to a distinct vocal that can be easily recognised above the general onslaught. Controls: They seem to work well with my Apple products except the iPod Classic due to connectivity & ‘Garage band’. Admittedly, I only tested them on my iPhone 7, iPad Pro and the iPod Classic but I feel that was sufficient to answer a few questions. The ‘volume control’ is very sensitive but you adjust. The ’media control’ button is functional and the instructions for using it are unusually ‘intelligible’! Accessories: I am suitably impressed - cable extension (by 50%); double splitter but i’m not certain if this is for two applications running simultaneously - that certainly doesn’t work. There are two 3.5 mm plugs and one socket rather than two sockets and and one 3.5 mm sockets, so what’s that about??? The replacement buds are a pain to refit. They just don’t like to locate! I suggest a tiny amount of Vaseline Here is a plus that the manufacturer didn’t pick up on: In this world, we are surrounded by radiation - Bluetooth, mobile, mirowave, radio, radar etc... as these earbuds are of a cable connection you haven’t got Bluetooth radiation directly to your ear. Think about that... Generally, they are cheap, well-packaged and more of a sensible option compared to the market for Gaming audibility. But why not 5 stars? It’s all about comfort and wearing them for an extended time. I am just going to have to master the application of those spare earbud ’pads’!

The mic is so far up it’s like a necklace when you put it on. The sound quality is horrible it sounds like underwater. Very cheap not good for gaming

I do a lot of dictation at work. I needed head phones with a long cord because I constantly turn around at my desk to grab files and was continuously jerking my headphones out of my ears. These are a perfect length. I will say that the buds are a little heavy, but they are also magnetic which means I can stick them to my metal drawer and the cord doesn't fall in the floor and the cleaning room doesn't suck them up in the vacuum. Win win!!! 2021: Just purchased a new pair, one of my earbuds stopped working. Considering these get used 5 days a week, at least 50 weeks out of the year... I would say two years was a good run. If you have a lot of static electric problems where you work or live, please recall that these are metal/magnetic earbuds I do get shocked in the ear if I am not careful and slap my hand to metal before placing the buds in. I am not in love with the new design from the old one (had a much longer cord), it's a preference thing not a design flaw. However, the extensions work perfect & considering the initial cord is much shorter than the last pair I bought, they might be good for working out now since the cord is about a foot shorter. The extension portion might be longer than the old pair, I don't really know though because I just plugged the new extension into the old and then plugged in the new headphone section. The connections are nice and tight, they don't come apart easily. The sound quality is still great! They pick up everything, which is kind of important when doing dictation or transcribing phone calls...love them, especially when the dictation stops & I can zone out to music, the sound quality is fantastic. Not sorry I got them again.
