DAS VerniDAS Professional 75 ml, QDEDVP

Creates a nice glossy finish to your work. A bit sticky though so be sure to protect surfaces. Difficult to read the bottle with how to clean the brush as the writing is so small. White spirit did not work for me, but cleaning the brush in some heated white vinegar worked well (protect your eyes).

I had some problems with delivery but was all sorted in the end! Really pleased with the product so it was worth the wait. It’s so glossy! It comes out pretty thick but spreads easily with the brush that comes with it. Doesn’t bubble as much as others I have tried. Takes long to dry than others but I think the finish is worth it.

The product is very cheap in general. In my opinion is not good enough to use even for beginners. The application is not super easy, the smell is quite strong, it is very thick, and it took ages to air dry. After having used my varnished ceramics for a bit, now the varnish has white spots in the places where it's been more used. And due to the complicated application, I struggled to cover one of my pieces completely and it is coming off.

Tried using this to finish some clay ornaments but it just won't dry properly. It's very glossy, and therefore from a distance looks good, but it's no good if it won't dry properly. I regret buying this and will instead try a spray varnish.

Trying to open this product was a challenge as the child lock wouldn't come undone. And then when it did, the top of the jar cracked open and spilt everywhere. The varnish itself is nice tho.

Je m’en sert, pour protéger des galets de Plage peint, mais jaunis au soleil. Dommage.

L'ho utilizzato per dare l'effetto vetrificato ai pezzi degli scacchi, dipinti prima a mano con vernici per legno e poi rifiniti con questo prodotto. Il risultato (visivamente) è a dir poco spettacolare, anche se ci sono alcuni "ma": Questi sono legati a quanto il prodotto impieghi ad asciugare, veramente tanto. Dopo un giorno e mezzo si rischia ancora di rovinare il lavoro, se si tiene l'oggetto trattato con le mani. Il calore della mano rovina il risultato. Il prodotto poi è molto denso, quindi si fa abbastanza fatica a stenderlo, a meno di non voler intingere il pennello davvero abbondantemente nel prodotto, rischiando poi di metterne in quantità eccessiva e poco omogenea, sull'oggetto. 4 stelle su 5.
