I have a brittle diabetic spouse. This helped to bring his blood sugars up fairly quickly. Not as quick as orange juice, but brought it high enough to make him reasonable and then drink and eat something. He even liked the taste.

This is the second time I have ordered these. The first order came with no issues and my husband keeps them on his bedside incase of low blood sugar. They work well. The only reason I dropped a star was because the next box had one packet that leaked and was crystallized in in the bottom of the box and left other packets sticky but those weee okay. Not sure how that could have happened in a sealed box.

These do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Good taste. Only use 1 and wait 30 minutes and remeasure before taking another. Great for emergency hypoglycemia to raise your glucose out of the danger zone…..but…..ensure you eat some protein and complex carbs asap after using to stop the glucose drop that follows taking a simple sugar alone.
