Blocks Road Construction Noise
I bought these because the city is tearing up the street past my house and there is heavy equipment making all kinds of very loud noise, and it will be going on for two months! This does not completely block all the noise, but it reduces it by a lot, so that it is not nearly as distracting or anxiety-inducing. I think they fit perfectly, and they were comfortable enough to fall asleep in. The ear cups are big enough to fit over my ears without squishing my ears against my head, like some cheaper headphones do. They do clamp pretty tight, but since my ears aren't squished, it doesn't hurt. They seem pretty well made, and part of the frame that holds the ear cups is metal, so it should be sturdy. I am impressed by the quality considering the cheaper price. They do fold up somewhat compactly, but since I will just be using them around the house, so I don't really need to take them with me anywhere. I am just trying them for the first time, so I can't say how long they will last, but I'll be using them regularly at least until the road construction project is over, so we'll see.

Good for the price.
Bought these to replace my old pair. Work pretty well to cut down on the lawn mower and weed whacker noise. My old ones were rated for less decibels than these but I honestly can’t tell the difference at all.

Ear Protection Ear Muffs Noise
I put this equipment to use in a number of different situations, including mowing the grass, going to a nearby shooting range, and even working on some carpentry projects in my workshop. One of the most striking aspects of these ear muffs is their adaptability. You can wear them for lengthy amounts of time without experiencing discomfort, which is an essential quality to have while you are working on longer chores or spending the day at the range. Although they are not too heavy, these ear muffs have a solid and well-made feel about them. Because it can be adjusted, the headband may be made to fit snugly on a variety of different head sizes. I believe that this is especially helpful for families who may wish to share a pair of shoes or for those who want to wear them that are intended for use with youngsters.

Vise grip for your head
If thesre over-ear protectors had been even slightly tighter, even a tiny bit more awkward to get on or the least bit less effective, I would've returtned them. What I like about them is that they're more compact than the amazing ones they replaced -- a pair that served me well for about five years. Those previous all-plastic and foam ear protectors were broader at the sides and stuck up more on top, makinng it too easy to bump into things. And bumping with them on was a godawful jarring experience. These Link Dream "ear muffs" have an arch band apparently made of spring steel. I am average in height, weight and head size. These protectors are too tight, and efforts to spread and relax their gonzo arch band have so far been futile. If I had to wear them regularly for more than a few minutes they would've been returned. As it is, they're less bumping-prone and dampen noise just enough that I decided to keep and use them. If your head is the least bit larger than average in size, if you need a high level of protection from loud noise and especially if you will need to wear ear protection for more than short periods, look elsewhere.

Great for noise
They are very tight and hard to unwrap the earmuffs to put on my head.
