The chair is just as pictured. Delivered with no damage and on time, actually faster than I expected. Strong and sturdy, doesn't wobble around or make you feel like it will tip over or collapse. Side pockets are large and deep enough to hold water bottles, coffee go cups, etc. The seat is wide and comfortable, padded arm rests help throughout the day. The netted shelf on the bottom will not hold any kind of weight. It is ok for a lap blanket, folder sweater, etc., but that is what I expected. The chair does a fast "snap open", so be careful to be out of the way of the sides when opening. Easy to fold up (doesn't snap closed), lightweight and easy to carry. You might be considering a regular height chair, but it is great to be at that height when customers are approaching or passing by your booth so you may greet them. Easy to slide on and off. Just what I wanted.

I just received this chair and will be using it for trade shows & sculpture/art shows. Since I haven't used it yet, this is just my first impression. If I find after using it that it has problems, I'll update my review. First off, received on time and well-packaged without loads of packing fluff. Easy to unwrap and was all in one piece. I was worried at first that something was bent because I had a bit of difficulty getting it to open fully. Once it did (with pressure) it popped into place quickly. It's wider than I expected, being heavy duty. I'm only 5'5" and 118lbs so it's expansive for me, but larger people will be pleased w/ the wide seat, shoulder room and sturdy feel. Not sure if it's a good idea to actually step on the foot bar - it may bend under pressure but makes a nice place to rest your foot once on the chair. The arm pads are nice, aluminum tubing can get hot and sweaty and make pressure points on your forearms so the slight cushion is a nice touch. Next - LOVE the side pocket thing!! It will easily hold my water bottle in one pocket and my ipad in the other. The pocket isn't large enough for a notebook, however a notebook/binder may possibly fit on the mesh shelf insert by the feet. All in all, this looks like a very good chair for doing shows and I love that it will also make grabbing ipad, water, notecards or business cards quick and easy while keeping me at eye level if I need to get off my feet for a few minutes. Basic black without screaming logos keeps it professional too.

I'm a professional makeup artist, and I needed a decently portable chair for on set that wouldn't cause me to hunch the entire time I'm applying makeup. This chair is great. It's extremely light and portable, even though it's durable and sturdy. It's the perfect height for makeup applications, as well. My only complaint is that it is very stiff when trying to fold it up. I was literally unable to fold it myself until I figured out how to use my forearms against the arms of the chair as leverage while folding the seat. I'm hoping that it will loosen up the more I use it, but even if it doesn't, I am glad I made this purchase and I would do it again.

for a soild 2 weeks my gf was bugging me about getting a tall chair for her to do make up in, so i did some research and looked through a bunch of high chairs (so boring) and i came to this one. Very nice solid build, but also extremely light. Everything works well and she really enjoys it. The only problem is that she cannot fold it out herself, Its not a big problem for me but i can see if you are a smaller person it can be tough to fold in and out. I always have to do it for her because she has tried but she just doesn't have the arm strength. That might be a problem for others and this can lead to bending the legs if you are not careful when you are trying to fold it out. Other then that, its really worth it and good product to use.

These chairs are very well made and great quality. I am fairly strong and had a very hard time getting the chair open to sit on. I bought two and the same problem occurred on both. The first time I pinched a finger. So be very careful where you place your hands. Then crank with all your might. Make sure the crossbar for the bottom is not set until the chair is open. When closing the chair, be sure to lift the crossbar first. I am sure they will loosen up with more use. I will be using them for art/craft booth so I cannot keep them open for use all the time or I would. Have chairs will travel. BTW, I am only 5'4" and these chair heights work well for me. I just have to lift my butt a little to get in. They are very comfortable and a great value too.

It’s perfect for doing makeup! My back had been hurting and I decided to invest in a makeup chair and it’s perfect exactly what I wanted! Very sturdy and comfortable for clients. Only downside is it’s a bit difficult to open up and close after getting the hang of it it’s easier to set up definitely recommend

This really is a very sturdy, practical and well made chair. I have been looking for a good art show chair for a few years and thought I had to choose from the crappy $25-$40 wooden ones that have no support or storage or the $250-$500 fancy schmancy ones. This is a very nice compromise. It is definitely a challenge to open and close at first but loosens up eventually. Also, if you are a bit short legged like me, your feet may not reach the foot support, thus making you lean foward a bit and then you need a pillow to support the back. Other than that, I would recommend it highly!
