Super product. Small yet strong
4hours road trip with 2 bikes on the back of our car and no problems at all. Easy to attach and bikes fit on nicely. Was a bit scared of the support on back window but no problems at all. Nicely folds down into the bag they provide! Very good quality build and feels super sturdy!

Simple but adequate lightweight bike rack.
Sorry about the long review but I took some time picking a rack out for us and I read plenty of reviews and I really wanted to add some of my thoughts.I bought the Allen bike rack for our 2 childrens bikes to go on our Peugeot 2008. Although it wasn’t listed as fitting our car for what it cost it was worth a punt.It arrived the next day as it was prime delivery. It comes in a small but weighty box. The rack is super simple to get ready. I would say assembly as it’s fully assembled in the box and just has to be erected if you like.It has 5 nylon straps with metal hooks on the ends which 2 hook over the top of the boot, 2 to the sides and 1 under the bottom of the boot lid. The whole operation took about 10 mins maximum. So the bikes we were using were 2 fairly small child’s bikes and they posed some trouble. This was because 1 was just too small, we got it on to a certain extent but not as I would of preferred. The second slightly bigger bike was a jiggle (again because of its size) but it went on. Apart from that and not wanting to strap the rack tighter to the boot in case of damage the rack served it’s purpose. We had a 15min drive to a promenade for a little ride and besides a nerve racking first drive, the drive back was less nail biting as I tightened the rack to the boot a little. After getting back the bikes come off super easy and the rack comes with a small bag to keep it in after unlatching and folding up.So all in all the rack flat out works, it isn’t exactly the sturdiest on the market but it is certainly one of the cheapest, the build quality is more than enough for what we need, 2 small child’s bikes.Personally I wouldn’t start hanging heavy or large expensive bikes off it for the obvious reasons and I wouldn’t want to drive for a couple of hundred miles with it in the boot. It is fairly forgiving in the fit on cars and I imagine it will fit most hatchbacks etc.Anyways hopefully this lengthy review is of some help to anyone who is in the market for a cheap bike rack.

Great Reliable Bike Carrier
I drive a Audi A3, I bought the carrier to move my Mountain Bike around the country, some short, some long journeys. Been using it regularly now for over a year. Very happy to report, it is very reliable and safe. I use a Bungee cable to steady front wheel, not essential, but I find it keeps wheel very still. If you're looking for a carrier that won't break the bank, then this may be for you!If I needed to buy again, I would have no hesitation buying it again

Easy to fit
Having had this bike rack for a while now I can comfortably say it is a great bit of kit. Easy to put on and take off and secure. Fitted my 2023 Nissan Qashqai with no issues, even though it doesn’t stake it fitted my car. I can tell you it does. Fitted two bikes on there no issues and did a decent trip on the motorway and back with no issues with movement etc. Great buy would recommend

Not Perfect
We purchased this to house our two mountain bikes to take on holiday and when driving out before a new cycle ride and route. In principle the design is good and it should work well, but in reality the weight of two bikes causes the unit to move on the rear of the vehicle. Over-tightening the 5 straps holding it in position feels as though there is a risk of damaging your vehicle especially if the "foot" of the unit is pressing on rear glass. In fairness we haven't had any accidents so far but I did have to stop on the M25 once when I spotted the unit had moved significantly through when looking through the rear window. This does do a job and does work, but I can't help feeling that the design could be improved to reduce risk of movement during transit

Damaged my car!
I followed the instructions and even placed the largest of the 2 bikes closer to the boot to reduce the overall weight on the bike rack but after removing it I now have a large dent which will no doubt cost me a small fortune to repair!

Brilliant
I love that you can set it up to hold one or two bikes.Easy to fit and super sturdy. It's been on my car for weeks so far.The only issue id say, is you can't use your back wiper once this is fitted, but it doesn't bother me to be honest.

Good
This is a very good solution for carrying bikes with a smaller vehicle. There are some issues fitting both mine and my wife's mtb's to it though because the frames are on the thicker end and don't fit flush into the cradles. After strapping them down though we haven't had much issue. It's a tight fit with two bikes on though and does take some jiggling around.
