Worth six stars really! This makes a rotten job of holding down the control arm against the forces acting on it about 110% easier. It's also safer particularly if you are working alone. There are much more expensive versions out there and my star rating and comments do not suggest that other dearer versions are not better quality, if you are a garage / business then go for a better one if you must but this is great value, it is strong and does what it is intended to do. My only negative comment (if it is negative because I got what I paid for) is that the pivot bolts on the two plates that you self assemble I have replaced with better grade 8.8 bolts. Just a peace of mind thing for me to replace ungraded bolts on cheaper versions of such kit. Cost of bolts? negligible.

Great tool at a great price

This great quality tool is value for money. Saving you time to complete the job alot quicker. This suspension plate tool fits underneath the suspension plate with the chain supplied and you ratchet the bolt up using a spanner or a socket to pull down the suspension plate so you can remove the steering knuckle protecting the steering ball joint from any damage.

Easy to set up. Only used it once so far but it did the job.

I've only used this once and it did the job, feels weak and not much thread the pull down, ive used the more expensive ones they feel more sturdy, i would only use on light vehicles with caution. Still it's better than paying triple the price for a branded one. Even if I got 3 or more jobs out of it, for the price it's worth it
