The privacy level is everything, but it does not affect the clarity of the information on the screen. It came with 2 different adhesive strips which look a bit difficult when looking at them because it doesn’t come with instructions. I went online and found a video to walk me through the instructions, and everything was applied easily. I did not have to fight with big bubbles; they were very small and smoothed out easily. The only thing I had to adjust to was seeing the adhesive strips on the screen, but it does not block any information. Overall, it looks amazing and does not peel.

If you just put the privacy filter in front of the laptop display, and instead of fixing it as prescribed in the manual just put the large adhesives horizontally beneath the display; with a few shorter ones around the rest of it, then it keeps itself in place perfectly fine. It does move a little by a millimeter (mm) yet takes a single gentle readjustment to hold back perfectly again (closing laptop lid & reopening). For the brightness I guess we shouldn't rate it well since its entire purpose is to degrade the display when looking sideways, which also clearly reduced my brightness visually too. Basically 70% brightness became like 50% brightness with it applied, so you will necessarily need to increase the brightness (so bad brightness is actually a good thing). For the anti-glare I didn't notice it at all, if there was one. There was actually quite a few glares on the screen when looking sideways, and I prefer it that way. The glares are left unseen when directly in front of the filter. For the adhesives I guess it's strange to indicate that the filter cans easily be moved in & out since it has to be inside the display borders, and the adhesive plastic stripes are made to prevent the privacy filter from escaping the display frame. For that adhesive part, I don't actually care since it serves its purpose exceptionally well. Don't expect it to fully turn your screen dark for snoopers, it will instead turn half of your laptop display dark and the other side will just be dimmed. So you could prefer typing your passwords & emails on the side opposite to where you think a snooper light be, this way you make sure to use the 'best' side in all scenarios.

This is great for privacy, it fit my iPad perfectly. It still gives me great functionality and visibility for my eyes only. It feels just like the actual screen.

TLDR: Don’t waste your money. Horrible product. The screen is advertised as magnetic. There are no magnets involved. There is a slight tacky strip of adhesive on the top and bottom. It falls off easy and doesn’t stay on at all. Also no adhesive on the sides which makes the sides lift up a little, making it difficult to read/see the screen. Additionally the privacy component is also horrible. I’ve been using privacy screens for decades. This one is the worst. Not only can you still see the screen from the side (even with brightness lowered), the screen is hard to read looking directly at it. The text is distorted. Absolutely horrible. Will be returning it and buying another brand.

The 15.6" privacy screen does an okay job of blocking side views — people next to me definitely can’t read my screen anymore. It fits my laptop reasonably well, and installation was simple enough. However, the screen noticeably dims the display, and the adhesive tabs don’t feel very secure. I’ve had to readjust it a couple of times, which gets annoying. It works, but it’s not as seamless or sturdy as I hoped.
