So much nicer than a hacksaw
I've been processing the occasional lamb for many years now and always used the hacksaw or (to my shame) the Sawzall. This is a VAST improvement. It goes through bone quickly and easily, with a lot less effort doesn't get gummed up the way a hacksaw's finer teeth do. The length is right for a full stroke with my arm. It saves a lot of effort for the money, and I'm quite happy on the whole. Why didn't it get five stars? Because there were little things that would not have cost any appreciable money but would have improved performance. The angle of the handle was just a little off, and the hole was just a little small for maximum efficiency and comfort. It doesn't make much difference for one or two lambs at a time. If I were doing this every day it would be irritating.

Built and works as expected
Nice saw. Exactly what I was expecting.

Good Blade
This is a good saw blade for cutting meat and bone. I prefer cutting meat and fish while frozen. For small projects, or with a small quantity, this saw is great, but when doing a lot of cutting I like using a cordless reciprocating saw with a stainless blade.

It worked for our job
We used this to shave foam insulation between studs. It was a bit flimsy.

Poor Durability
Worked fairly well first time but some blade twist. Blade mounting failed second time I used it.

Saving money.
I like the product, it looks like it will do everything I need it to do. It took a long time to get here but it did get here. I have purchased some large peices of meat from a friend with a restaurant and intend to cut them up while still frozen. If it works, which it will. The first piece of meat will more than pay for the saw, it's half the price I can buy it for.
