Brilliant CD

Given the title, 'Golden Hits', i was expecting at least a few Bee Gee hit lollipops but I don't recognise a single one of these obscure numbers. I read the contents, then didn't even bother to open it and it will go straight to a charity just in case there is someone out there who might want it.

This is good value and comprehensive compilation of the Bee Gee's Australian days. I mainly bought it out of curiosity as being a fan of their power ballads of the late sixties and early seventies I had never heard much at all of their very early career. Nearly all their early singles are included and many tracks from their Australian albums. The tracks for Spick's and Spec's would sit comfortably on the Beatles Revolver albums so that gives you a good idea on the style of music included here. There are also a few later tracks included from Bee Gee's 1st (international album) as well as a couple of later singles.

2nd disc 1st track is the most emotional love song I have ever listened to. No smutty or sexy lines. Just pure love.
