This worked out of the box on my Linux desktop. Sound quality is good. Base is solid with a flexible gooseneck and reasonably small footprint on a crowded desk. Has a mute button on the base and a volume control. Good value for under $25

It was simple to set up, plugged into a computer USB, and has a mute switch on top, best deal, as the next version's, high-end is $70-$80.

Great product. Easy setup. Volume control I have found not very useful. I always keep on its highest setting. The mic on/off button I use all of the time. Better than having some other software switch or unplugging/plugging in all the time. Highly recommend this product.

Works great until it doesn't, and the working life is an unacceptably short time span. I've purchased 4 of these and 3 of them are no longer working. They tend not to last longer than 1 year. I had one just die right in the middle of a meeting I was the host for, just instantly stopped working on the spot. If you need reliability look elsewhere.

I always used a single sided head set with mic. tried this and it works great. Only picks up speech and i don't know how it does it. No back round noise........

Super quiet, and since it's USB it can't be boosted in windows settings. You'd hope the volume knob on the mic would be sufficient but maxed out it was still so quiet. Had to throw it through a convoluted setup with a virtual driver and Equalizer APO to push the volume up to a good volume. My webcam mic was at a good volume as a comparison, but this one, now boosted, does sound better than that one based on recording tests. It sounds pretty good after all that, but one day I'll replace it.
