Sekonda Classique Men's Mechanical Skeleton Pocket Watch (27GII13)

This was an impulse buy. I haven’t used it enough to properly judge the accuracy, but so far it seems OK. A watch like this is of less practical use than a wristwatch, but the face, with the black roman numerals on white, is very elegant and attractive. It was this, and the skeleton design at a very reasonable price, that made me buy. From the back, the balance wheel can be seen whizzing away, and the front shows the mainspring clearly. As for using it, some research was needed, first on how to open the case, and then how to set the time (I needlessly bust a nail trying to pull out the crown, but figured it out in the end. YouTube helped). It's a nice horological curio.

Lovely pocket watch is all you can say

I've bought this watch twice. The first time, on a whim and it worked great. My father took a liking to it so I gave it to him as a gift. After some time, I wanted it again so I bought another, exactly the same one, same product page and everything and within a day it stopped working. The plastic covering for the clock face is wobbly and makings clicking sounds whenever you touch it as if it's not set right and depend on the angle at which I hold it, it'll stop working altogether.Very poor customer service system in place. Really unhappy with having wasted money on something I thought was good and really turned out I just lucked out and there was no actual quality at all.Tbh, save yourself the gamble

This product is as described and really looks good very pleased with the pocket watch. It needs regulating but I will give it a couple of days running before trying to sort this out. The watch seems good value for money. No

Originally I was quite happy with this watch, however, after a couple of weeks, the back of the watch became detached from the main body of the watch, and, despite several attempts by me, it will not stay attached. Also, the watch has stopped several times during the day/night. When in use, it lives in the side pocket of my shorts or jeans with nothing else in the pocket with it. It is wound in the morning at around the same time every day. It hasn't been subjected to any bangs or impacts which might have caused it to stop. Over all, a reasonable looking watch which has a tendency to fall apart simply from being worn in a pocket, plus it keeps stopping for no apparent reason.Haven't contacted Amazon or the seller as I've had it a few weeks and I've been away. (Just to say, I've had and used several Seconda watches in the past and have never had any problems with them.)
