More flavor than heat! One of the best things in a bottle . Tonight I took thin cuts of steak , marinated them for 30 minutes while I got the cast Iron skillet heated up , put them in and did a heavy sear on both sides ! Made amazing tacos with just enough heat to compliment the flavor ! Very impressed with the quality for an off the shelf item that does everything I need in one bottle - A+

Small bottles are fine for traveling

This is a great deal for anyone who has someone in their life that LOVES LOVES LOVES Cholula ... and who doesn't!? My son puts Cholula on everything, so we went through this bottle in 2-months ... probably it would last most people 6-months. Cholula is the best sauce ... just the right heat level, a little kick ... but does not lend so much flavor that you food tastes like the hot sauce and not the food itself.

This sauce price varies a lot! We love it though, the whole house loves the taste and it goes great with a lot of different styles of cooking. Having said that, the price fluctuates by $20, so I buy it when it's cheap even if I haven't run out yet. We use about a half a bottle a month, so the big size is great. Amazon does a terrible job packing this, so don't be surprised if you get a broken one. I've ordered probably 8 or 10 bottles so far and only one was broken and destroyed, but they still persist in sending them in big cardboard boxes with poor packing materials, which is not Cholula's fault.
