The mistake everyone is making with these rings is that these are not PEX or irrigation size rings which are for half inch OD tubing. These rings are for half inch ID tubing (SAE) which is larger on the outside diameter than half inch.

I needed a tool for PEX clamps for use in our RV. Hose clamps will work if you can get them really tight. Since most RV’s don’t have cut off valves on the sinks, shower or toilet I decided to put cut off valves on everything I could get to. I had to work a tight space so I bought this kit. I did all the cut off valves in about an hour that was including putting new faucets on and a porcelain toilet in. The cutter and the crimp tool worked perfectly. Well worth the money and I saved hundreds by doing it myself. If you have PEX in your house or anywhere else this tool comes in handy in close places. Plus it can be used on vehicles that have the same type clamps. There are plenty of clamps for 1/2 PEX and some more for other sizes with a carrying case to keep everything in. I showed it to my brother in law and he wanted on as well so I ordered one for him. A money saving tool for sure. Get one and save yourself some money and time by doing your own repairs

I used 5 in a row random draw from a jar of 60 and all snapped when crimped. Just for reference the rings that came with the crimper worked perfectly and the ones I bought at a local hardware store did too. So not the crimper. Cost to return is higher than the refund. I would not recommend buying this product.

I bought these to use on an outside water project for my cattle using Pex B plumbing and they work fine. It's been about 6 months since the job and know leaks so far and all the crimps hold up.

what to review. there clamps. seem to crimp well. i thought a decent price
