I bought this after a few reddit threads suggested the KZ09 Pro to use to make Moondrop IEMs wireless for cheap. I have no clue what on earth those redditors were thinking. This does not work. It's evident right out of the case you have to saw away about 2-3 mm of the plastic at the connection point since Moondrop IEMs require very long prongs to connect. This might seem unfair to this product since it's not made for Moondrops. However, my mod process did reveal a weak point in the product itself. I did shave away enough to get the prongs to connect on the right side. Awesome. Then, the left. I was very careful, but the prongs fell out, absolutely ruined. So, why give a one star review to a product because I was modifying it? Because if all it takes is a slight little jiggle to make the prongs break, there is a blatant QC problem. The other reviews reflect this. The reason for these not working randomly is probably because the pins/prongs came loose. And because the right adapter was fine when I modded it and only the left fell apart, that tells me there is egregious inconsistency in their manufacturing. Too bad. There is little to no market for wireless adapters for IEMs (which by itself is odd...) and the one that is highly recommended won't work at all. All hail Shure, I guess. We must bow to our awful one-prong IEM overlords if we want wireless. (And those suck too...)
