I bought this jokes books after wading though hundreds of titles. And I have to say the jokes are excellent. I saved some for future reference. Some are more fun than others but you will not be disappointed. There is even a military section and a fishing one (which I skipped). The jokes are not the typical kids stories so they can be enjoyed by adults too. They are clean and no swearing! (If I remember well)

英語の勉強と娯楽とを兼ねて、英文で書かれたジョーク集を探していたのですが、一般の書店などではなかなかこれと言ったものが見つかりません。この本は、さまざまな分野のジョークが政治やスポーツなどといったカテゴリ別に収録され、コンパクトな本のわりに、分量的にも質的にもかなり充実しています。 もちろん日本語の説明があるわけではないので、オチが今ひとつわからないようなものも、たまにあるのですが（主に自分の英語力不足によるものでしょうが）、そういうのをいろいろ考えたり調べたりするものまた楽しいものです。 全体的な雰囲気としては、どちらかというと「上品な」方かもしれませんが、かなりブラックなものもあり、また長さも1行で終わるようなものから、半ページ分に及ぶような長文ものまで、いろいろバラエティに富んでいます。イラストジョークも豊富です。とにかく、そんなような本をお探しの方には、お勧めです。
