Skar Audio 1/0 or 4 Gauge in-line ANL Fuse Holder with 150 Amp Fuse

I used this inline ANL fuse holder on my car audio power run and it did exactly what I needed. The build feels sturdy, the included 150A ANL fuse got me up and running immediately, and it was easy to mount and service later. I’m running [4 gauge / 1/0 gauge] and the holder clamped down securely with no wiggle. The protective cover is a nice touch to keep everything insulated and looking clean. Overall it’s a simple part, but it’s one of those “do it once, do it right” items for a safer install. Pros: Solid, secure connection (no loose terminals) Works with 1/0 or 4 gauge (handy if you change setups later) Includes the 150A fuse Looks clean and is easy to access Cons: Cover is a bit snug at first (not a dealbreaker) I’d still recommend grabbing spare ANL fuses just in case Would buy again for any amp install that needs a 150A fused line.

This worked perfectly! Exactly what I needed for the Big 3 upgrade and you can’t beat the price. It was super easy to install and was as well built as could be expected. Be aware the this is slightly bigger than one might expect, but not hugely oversized. It looks kinda cool and blends in well with where I have it mounted under my hood. I was leery of Skar, because of all the social media shade I see thrown their way, but so far they haven’t disappointed with anything I’ve ordered.

I did the "Big 3" wiring on my car and I figured I needed a fuse for the positive end. This one seemed like a good value for the quality, and I think it is. The build is pretty robust and it has a plastic cover to prevent dirt or maybe water from getting on the bottom or in the wire when connected. Other than that, there's not much else to say. Good product!

As expected, does what it needs to. True 1/0 AWG wire (not Skar or other undersized wire) fit in the terminals fine. Only thing is I wish the cover clipped in more securely, but a minor inconvenience. Wound up taping the cover to the base. Doesn’t add much resistance, and protects the system. All good there. Replaced the 150A with a conservative 250A ANL Fuse (1/0 AWG can handle much more than 150A). Overall, I purchased a handful of these to go between the primary main battery and trunk battery, and installed on the upgraded 1/0AWG line from the alternator to the main battery. Everything works and handles well, so I definitely got my moneys worth!
