Sturdy home for my tomato plants
I really love this tomato planter! The base holds plenty of dirt for the plant roots to grow in. The size is not too excessively large but not so small that the tomato plant won't flourish. The watering system works very well with excess water draining easily away out of the base so the plant doesn't get overwatered. The base planter box is made out of plastic with plastic connectors for the metal trellis poles. The assembly was super easy with everything snapping into place with very little effort. It comes with 5 wheels but I preferred it be non-rolling due to concerns of wind storms rolling it around when the plant grew taller. It worked equally as well without the wheels. The design and quality are so good, I made my mother by a second one! 😁

Modern, stylish and functional!
Super easy to put together! Love 💕 the looks and function of these! I like the way you can daisy chain them together to make any configuration you want. I chose a straight line of 6 planters. I chose not to put the swivel wheels on the bottom and that is ok. I like the fact that they are self watering. However, there is one major engineering flaw: they expect you to pull the plug out of the water reservoir each time after watering? Who does that? So that when there is torrential rain, you are supposed to pull out the plugs so the pots don’t fill with water? I had to fix this flaw myself and I hope it works……I drilled 6 holes in between the bottom weaves on the front of each planter, hoping it will overflow there, before flooding each pot. Any self watering pot should have an automatic overflow. Come on people! No one want to get on their hands and knees to pull plugs! Despite this engineering flaw, I gave them 5 stars because all the other aspects exceeded my expectations and the flaw was an easy fix for me. Let’s hope it works!

Hook two of them together!
I purchased the large container, but it only holds about 7 or 8 gallons of potting mix, which is not enough for a normal-sized tomato plant. But the container is designed so that you can hook two of them together, so I bought a second one, and that should be enough for anything up to about 6 feet tall (I have several years of experience with growing tomatoes in containers). I would not try to use it for the largest tomato plants that grow 8 feet tall or more. It's well-designed and the support is plenty sturdy. Easy to assemble.

Highly recommend
If I could give this more stars I would. So easy to assemble and the wheels make it a dream. I struggled last year to find something to hold up my first ever tomatoe plant. Finding this had been a game changer. Plants are thriving and did I mention the wheels! I would and will buy again.

Nice but not for a regular tomato plant
This went together easily and was sturdy. I like the product but it is not deep enough for a regular tomato plant. If you buy it for that, buy a patio tomato plant, meant for a container.

Good Planter
Worked great for growing pole beans. However it did blow over a few times in high wind. Recommend tying it to something when high winds are in the forecast.
