Serviceable, cheap but not a strong choice.
Can produce good prints but my spools since getting it has been nothing but trouble as you can see from the pictures this has been hit and miss the larger print has missed layers thanks to the roll getting tangled up and most other rolls I have had in the past stop aggressively coiling after 25% this one didn't meaning that if it slips off the roll it can get snagged easily. Adhesion is fine overall but it's again the only filiment I have had issues with sticking to the bed. Get what you pay for same issues with the brands Abs.

Excellent PLA for the price
For the price I can hardly complain with the quality which is decent, I've already used 3 rolls in a month of having the my printer and I've yet to receive one that's tangled or brittle ideal temperatures I've used for the signal white filament is 215 initial to help with good bed adhesion, before dropping it to 200 and 55 on bed.All round good solid filament ideal for odd jobs and test prints if you are looking for a filament which has an excellent finish to it with invisible layer lines then this probably isn't for you but given the price you could hardly complain about it being unreasonable.

Good when new, but its highly sensitive to moisture!!
As others have noted this filament can be a bit awkward to use. Its quite a bit more 'elastic' coming out of the hotend than most other's I've used. It behaves a lot like the "silk" pla, and as such works nice using settings for such. Basically - increase the temperatures 10℃ or so and slow down printing a little and it'll work nice. Its quite a "thick" filament compared to some so you may need to slightly reduce extrusion too. When you do get it right its produces very nice quality prints, the colour is strong and solid, and the print strength feels great. The filament reel itself is shrunk wrapped inside the box - this wrapping isn't reusable so you'll need to source a plastic bag to keep the unused in.**UPDATE** Having had a few reels of this in closed bags for a couple of months, I now find I'm having all the problems that others are having, namely its terrible bed adhesion and bubbles. This can only be due to moisture but I've never had any problems with moisture with any other PLA before. I'll be avoiding this from now on and now will have to try drying what I have in the hope its still usable.

Simple to print, bright colours
That's the first filament I didn't need to calibrate: printing at 200, bed at 60, prints came out flawless from the very beginning!Flow is perfect to the hundredth of the millimeter and colour is amazing, very bright! Bought the yellow as well, can say the same things.Spooling is not the best ever, but no issues so far with it,i.e. No filament jamWill definitely buy more, as the 500g spool is my favourite format

Good value and prints well
Bought this as it was available same day through prime, wasn't sure how it would print but it was cheap and I decided to give it a go, well I was pleasantly surprised, it prints really well, although I do get a slight discolouration where it adheres to the bed, the black finish does vary slightly between dull and shiny. The filament prints well between 200 and 210 and bed temp is set initially at 60 dropping to 55 after the first few layers, I'm using a creality mag bed on my ender 3 now and adhesion is excellent. I have tried a few filaments but keep coming back to this one as my every day use, I'm so impressed with it that this is my third role of black and I have also used the red which is also excellent and the colour is really rich, I cannot recommend this enough performance is excellent especially when you factor in price. Good for the price, but...
For the price this is okay filament if you are a budget printer, however, my spool was tangled in some areas causing an issue in printing. It untangled quite easily but it was still a shock when I heard a loud thumping noise from my printer. The horizontal layers also don't always adhere well to each other, that I think is more user error though than filament. Would buy again if it wasn't for the tangling.

Top quality for the price
Bought a 500g roll of yellow to test print quality. I have read most of the reviews here, especially the negative ones, and on an Ender 5 plus with all metal hotend, this prints perfectly, at 205-210 degrees, with an initial bed temperature of 60 degrees, which I add gcode to turn off at 5mm height to save electric (using 3djake adhesive spray) and the results have been very good and strong. I'll definately be buying again for prototyping, as at currently 8 pounds for 500g, it's cheap as chips.

Draft printing Viable
I am impatient when it comes to 3 printing, especially when doing iterative design and functional prints. my approach focuses purely on getting the part off the print bed as fast as possible. In this regard, the Basicfil Grey PLA is a good filament for rapid draft printingThe benchy may have imperfections, but I believe this is more to do with the printer parameters than the filament itself. The shade of grey is certainly the darkest I have printed when compared againt Geetech and Anycubic greys. Bare this in mind when printing. The filament is practically the same shade as Cuprinol's "Silver Copse" fence paint for reference. The spool comes with a handy desiccant pack which can be stored inside one of the side holes during printing. The spool could be improved with additional anti-tangle holes.Happy to support a European manufacturerEnder3 ProNozzle: 215Bed: 60Print time: 48min
