Clubman Pinaud Reserve Brandy Spice After Shave, 6 oz

Very Good - Masculine

This is a great scent. It’s starts off very strong but mellows quickly. At first the apple smell is almost too much. But by the time you’ve made it to the car to leave for the day, it’s just a great smell. Lots of compliments. Will definitely buy again.

Had low expectations in light of the cost of the product. Pleasantly surprised. It has a general, masculine fragrance to it. Evocative of brandy (think vanilla and warm spice). I presumed this would be similar to Pindaud's other products (Lilac vegetal) which my dad swore by. Because I liked this so much, I bought several other Pinaud fragrances.

This is the only review you will need to read. I will be reviewing all three scents, the Whiskey, Brandy and Gin. All of these aftershave splash's go on your face easy and soak in nice. They do not leave a sticky feeling and they do not sting your face that much. These are all very light and refreshing. After you shave just shake some out of the bottle onto your cupped hand, put the bottle down, rub your hands together and then splash it onto your face. Do not rub it it - pat it in. Put it on your cheeks and neck. I also put some on my chest. This stuff does not over power you with scent. Each are mild in their own way. It evaporates quickly into your skin so I sometimes splash twice. While you may not smell much after awhile others will. It isn't like you become a stink fest of cologne it's just a faint lingering smell of the product which is nice. I can't stand talking to someone who showers in cologne or perfume - it's obnoxious - this Clubman line is outstanding for a man. All three scents smell of MAN no floral or soy crap here. The scents: Whiskey - the most powerful, definitely whiskey and heavy musk with sweet overtones. Brandy- a very pleasant brandy spice overtone with heavy cedar notes that linger Gin - lots of gin scent mixed with citrusy lime overtone I have a tough time choosing which one I like most - I can't decide. They are ALL good in their own way. I like clubman I use a lot of their products like the shampoo, hair tonic, shave cream, body splash and more. I wish they would come out with a shower gel like that would smell similar to their shampoo. I am 48 years old but I look 20 - don't believe it that's ok I am loving it. Enjoy!

Don't know why my beloved Whisky Woods is so expensive. This one is decent/okay, though.

I started with the original scent, moved to Gents Gin in favor for a more modern scent. I like the classic burn and the product does help with post-conditioning the skin. I tried the Brandy Spice and I’ll never try another. It encompasses Pinaud’s qualities and has an invigorating smell. It doesn’t last forever which is good with me. More apple than brandy, but I can apply cologne in the morning without the two fighting each other. Since I shave at night, it’s a great aftershave to fall asleep to.

I’m young, 26. I like fragrances like a Paco Rabanne Invictus , 1 Million, Versace Eros, Gucci Guilty, YSL , Azzaro Chrome, you get the idea. I usually use the Original Clubman after shave (yellow color liquid). And i recently started using the Clubman Lustrat “Draggin Noir” (which smells like black ice car scent. I love it). WHEN I SAY I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I SMELLED THIS. I was like WOW! Usually after shaves are strong obviously when you smell them straight from the bottle, and after you put them on your face it settles. You do get that hint of apples but it smells masculine. It’s almost spicy but a hint of citrus but mainly smells fresh. Doesn’t at all smell like an old grandpa. Surprisingly by the name it doesn’t smell like liquor either. After it sits, it definitely has a fresh subtle, powdery, apple like scent. Also I feel like the powder or spice offsets the apple so you really get a nice subtle masculine fragrance. It’s really nice. It definitely has that exotic type of smell because it definitely threw me off at first of how different but good it smelled. This may be my new go to even tho i like a variety of smells. But now it’s got me curious to smell the other “Clubman Reserve” line. This smells immaculate, i’m truly blown away with the smell.

Apply this following a shave and find out or remember what you might have missed. So far today is day 2 and the effects I've heard are happening lol I had a nice lady approach me as I stood alone saying her dogs wanted just like to smell others.. ok. Pro: Buonissimo.... perfettamente uguale alla descrizione....! Che dire ragazzi non sono un esperto di Brandy ma a me ricorda tanto il whisky Southern Comfort ....! Odore di brandy leggero e molto piacevole su letto dolciastro molto piacevole e leggera nota legnosa-speziata..! Direi molto mascolino e piacevole, resta sulla pelle per mezza giornata e più, tranquillamente , mi sono avvicinato a questa linea per cercare un dopobarba diverso dai soliti ed eccolo qui... Club Pinaud . Non mi resta che scoprire gli altri prodotti della linea. Contro: piccolo ritardo sulla spedizione ma tollerabile è bottiglia in plastica che a mio parere giustifica il prodotto in più rispetto ad altri dopobarba con bottiglia di vetro in cui ci sono 100 ml di prodotto anziché come in Pinaud 177 ml . Prodotto valido e piacevole.... acquisto consigliato.
