4k 120hz did not work for me
I found this HDMI switch to be quite peculiar. My goal was to share one HDMI output from my RTX 4090 to my Samsung Q800A 8K TV at 4K 120Hz and my Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED at 5120 x 1440 240Hz. I was particularly concerned about the latter, wondering if it would work. Using VESA-certified cables, which functioned perfectly when connected directly, the switch oddly delivered 5120 x 1440 240Hz with 10-bit color, HDR, and VRR flawlessly. However, it failed to work with my TV at 4K 120Hz with an 8-bit color depth. The best I could achieve was 4K 60Hz. Despite spending considerable time tweaking the Nvidia Control Panel, I couldn't resolve the issue, making this purchase somewhat of a disappointment.

Perfect for my needs.
Works perfectly for switching between my gaming console and PC without constantly swapping cables. The picture quality remains sharp, and I haven’t noticed any lag or drop in performance. Setup was simple, just plug and play. The button to switch between sources is responsive, and the small LED indicators make it easy to see which device is active. It’s also compact, so it doesn’t take up much space. A solid option for anyone needing a hassle-free HDMI switch.

Inconsistent Performance and Questionable Quality
I purchased the UGREEN HDMI 2.1 Switch hoping for a seamless way to switch between my PS5 and Xbox Series X on my monitor. Unfortunately, my experience has been marred by inconsistent performance and concerns about the build quality. While there were times when the switch worked flawlessly, allowing me to enjoy 4K@120Hz gaming without issue, there were also numerous instances where it failed to deliver. Sometimes I would get a picture but no sound, other times the image wouldn't display at all. I tried troubleshooting with different HDMI cables, but the problems persisted. The switch itself feels a bit cheap, which further adds to my concerns about its reliability. While I appreciate the compact design and the bi-directional functionality, the inconsistent performance makes it difficult to recommend. If you're looking for a reliable HDMI switch for your next-gen consoles, you might want to consider other options.

This little device fixed an ongoing issues I had with my TV. I LOVE THIS DEVICE! Thank you so much!!!!! The problem I had was that when I turned my Nintendo Switch (or Nintendo Switch 2) off, the TV would not recognize anything plugged into the HDMI. I am not sure the technical reasoning, but I think the Nintendo Switch Dock doesn't send any information to the TV so it forgets all the HDMI channel settings, the label, etc. I heard this device can help so I bought it and it fixed the issue instantly! I can now turn my Nintendo Switch 2 off and the TV doesn't think I unplugged the device. It just works the way it should! YES!!!! FINALLY! As for the device, I had some questions that were not answered in the description so I will answer them here: _I am using an HDMI 2.1 cable from Ugreen to connect the Nintendo Switch 2 to the Switcher to the TV. _No need for additional USBC power (when using the switch 2. This may be different when using more demanding 8k devices? But it works fine with the Nintendo Switch 2) _The Switch 2 was outputting 4K, 60 fps (the game I was playing was 60fps) with HDR. _The device is sturdy, feels great. Simply put: this just worked! Totally worth your money!

Funktioniert also auch so rum.

i got an ultragear LG oled monitor on black friday that has like the highest possible resolution and frame rate as the tvs that cost 3k but since it is considered a monitor and not a tv it does not have all the bells and whistles that NOBODY actually uses on an traditional smart tv. as you can see here i have a 4 port 8k 60hz hdr swich running INTO this UGREEN 2 port switch which runs to one of two monitors. i have ran through every single version of all the big switch and adapter brands within the less than $100 price range and these two are the only ones that actually work consistency and as advertised.
