This review is for SabreCut SCPA25_21PH 25mm PH2 Impact Screwdriver Driver Bits Set. Never really taken notice of the difference between Phillips & Pozi heads until I had to put up a plasterboard ceiling using 75mm Phillips screws with an impact wrench - that’s right a wrench- as it was the only tool I had available. The only bits I had available were 50mm long Pozi bits, and 25mm Philips bits which weren’t long enough as they kept slipping down into the chuck adapter. Because of the length of the screws I need a powerful tool to drive the screws in. The Pozi bits would just get rounded at the tip as they would not sit right in the screw head and the Philips bits would just break when I applied a high torque. Damaged 4 bits on 3 screws that couldn’t be driven all the way in. So I researched into it and I was Informed that I needed S2 steel Phillips 2 impact bits, so I purchased Sabrecut and Dewalt bits, out of the two brands I was more impressed with the Sabrecut as they were clearly marked what size bits whereas the Dewalt had no markings so would need to compare with other bits to establish size. As an added bonus the Sabrecut came with a magnetic bit holder so sat nicely in the chuck adapter and was able to swap the bits over quickly. The Sabrecut bits sat nice and tight in the screw head so was able to drive all 50 screws in to the correct depth with minimal wear on the bit, so I would certainly buy this brand again.
