This paper is perfect for beginning students at college, etc! It’s heavy enough to take in the paint and light enough to not cost buckets! It’s a good price and the paint looks pretty. In comparison to other papers, it doesn’t take in as much water as some expensive brands, but the size and the quality is pretty good for the price! You can always cut it down to size. Would definitely recommend to learning artists!

As a watercolor artist, I am very satisfied with this purchase. Twelve large sheets for roughly ten dollars is a great deal for this quality watercolor paper. This paper is wonderful for watercolor paint. It is very absorbent and makes a great surface for watercolor paint to adhere to. With some paper you get a more floppy, less dense paper in the larger sizes, but I have not found that to be the case with this paper, as it is nice and crisp. The large orientation of the paper will cause you to use up your paint more quickly, but the result is having large, vibrant painting that are vivid and eye-catching. 5/5 stars for this paper pad.

Excellent quality. Thick and very large pages. Paint really likes this paper. It doesn't curl if you add too much water. It's the type of paper that you could frame a really nice painting in. I'd definitely buy it again. Highly recommended.

We love the Strathmore brand of watercolor paper. As professional artists we prefer Strathmore over others because it doesn't bleed through and I love the large sizes that they come in. They are good quality paper and you can even use acrylic paints on them and they don't disintegrate or fall apart. They can take both dry media or wet media so I like that too.

Nice paper, but due to the way it was packaged and then shipped (plastic envelope) the corners of the paper were damaged and doesn’t lend itself to artful quality.

Nice size good quality would buy again

Don't even try watercolor without a decent watercolor paper- it's just too frustrating. You can get by with cheaper paint and brushes, but you need good paper. This is the exact paper I use for all my beginner classes, but it's also the paper I enjoy painting with every day. I might upgrade for something really special, but 95% of what I paint is on Strathmore 300 series 140lb paper. This is usually the best price around and I love that this is sheets and not a pad of paper. (A block of paper is nice, but why would anyone want a pad- attached on only one end?)

Very thick and robust paper, can carry a lot of water, It is not a pad with pages that you can tear off but rather loose pages, not great but overall lovely paper , already used it for wedding name tags

Excelente tamaño para practicar diferentes opciones ya sea la hoja completa o a la mitad, el papel no es taaaan absorbente por lo que no se sobrecarga de acuarela y da oportunidad de trabajarla antes de que se seque.

No me ha gustado, absorbe mal los colores deja cercos

I guess I didn't read the description properly and I was expecting a smaller booklet, maybe standard paper size. But this thing is HUGE! I'll be cutting these sheets into smaller sizes to make cards out of. But I think the value is really great for such large sheets of watercolour paper. I haven't tested the paper yet using my paints but it looks to be good quality. I will try to update this review once I test it out.
