Quality clay pots, correct size, no imperfections, holds orchid medium and makes watering easier. Orchids very happy in these clay pots. Instead of plastic I recommend purchasing these. Draining holes makes for new growth, deters bacteria and fungus and I water once a week allowing orchids pots soak in dishpan if water for at least four hours. Then drain and place back in filtered light location. They look so beautiful and rich green color of leaves are a bonus. I purchased these pots for ease of care, clay composition and the fact they mimic orchid natural environment needs. . Holds moisture like tree bark yet allows orchid roots to grow with freely. I don’t mist because in my home I have to keep humidity at 50 using a dehumidifier at all times with room temperatures range from 50 to 78. Each pot was individually protected, and then all three were secured together with additional styrofoam. My father-in-law recommended these orchid pots and my orchid seems really happy. I transplanted it last year and it’s growing with several big green leaves! It also has a few flower buds are coming out! Looking forward to seeing the flowers!!!

I’ve purchased the 6 inch pots several times and haven’t had any problems. They are perfect for my orchids. I just ordered one set of the 8 inch pots and the tray was broken. It is impossible to get into contact with the seller to get a replacement tray without having to return the whole set.

Exactly as described. A little pricy, but very cute and the hikes are great fit orchids so the air circulates through the roots.
