Pleasant taste
This is an excellent neutral tasting mouthwash for sensitive mouths. No need to add the little bottle of mint which I personally think ruins the taste. I have used this for several years after having an extraction. The oral surgeon prescribed this particular brand for rinsing. I just found out that this brand now makes a CloSYS Silver with anti-cavity fluoride. Because I have several old crowns that could be leaking, my dentist recommended a specialty brand of toothpaste that was good at slowing down the progress of cavities. I use this instead and like finishing my whitening toothpaste brushing routine with the CloSYS Silver rinse.

FDA warning for allergic reactions is severe
The chemical chlorhexidine that is in it can have severe reactions if allergic . Do not use unless you clear it with a doctor. Google chlorhexidine at Mayo Clinic . I ended up in the ER. Terrifying.
