My German Shepherd has had multiple surgeries on his knees and elbows due to being a genetic dud in this area. We originally had the dog on Cosequin. This product is far more effective and much cheaper when purchased with the 3-pack option. My vet charges $34 for a single package that is 1/2 the volume of one of the three in this three pack. I purchased the 3-pack for $71 so I effectively got 6X more product that my Vet provides for about the cost of 2X perscription fills. My dog is 100 lbs. so he takes two chews a day. He is a little finicky so I have to make him eat the first one by picking it up a few times and allowing him to chew on it before I let go. After the first one is in, he readily chews up the second one. The 3-pack is absolutely the way to go here.
