This is the perfect reading light. It has several levels of light that can be adjusted to your liking. Its light weight and doesnt bother your neck. I use this all the time at night in bed, when I'm reading

Priced right and I can use it when reading at night or doing needlework. It comes in handy for may things because it keeps your hands free!

My daughter uses this for knitting or intricate paint by numbers. Really offers just the right lighting for focused work.

Pros: 1. Nicely built: you can bend those goosenecks and they hold their shape (better than others I've used); this helps with keeping it secure around your neck, or as a freestanding lamp. 2. Good light-intensity control: three brightness levels that can be controlled separately on each side (or one side can be turned off entirely).Con: Poor color consistency in the light splash. The way LEDs work, especially with small sources, you always get a little banding with different colors, but here it is quite dramatic (see photos). When reading with it, I keep getting distracted by the little rainbow shifts on the page.
