Venom 1-6x24 Second Focal Plane Riflescope

Vortex Optics Venom 1-6x24 Second Focal Plane Riflescope: On a 6.5 Grendel 18" upper, 300yrd and in, hog/white tail TX hunting set up. Clear glass, turret have positive clicks. Tracks good... Little heavy but not bad. Bright for 24mm. Nothing bad to say, not at this price (on sale - 224). It seems well built but if I have a problem with durability, I will modify the rating. So far, it's reliable and it works well.

I recently mounted the Vortex Venom 1-6x24 on my AR-15, and it has exceeded my expectations. Really nice scope

This is the best option for the price by far. It is extremely impressive build quality, the reliability and the clarity of the glass when shooting is really good. Second focal plane seems to be a better option for targets within 200 yards. It has the ability to reach up to 500 yards with ease. If you are hunting over for 500 yards a first focal plane may be a better option for you. Hands down the vortex Venom is the best option available out of all the second focal plane scopes I've reviewed. Especially for home defense or hunting at distances within 200 or even 300 yards. If you find this on sale for under $300 it will be an excellent option to add to your collection. I highly recommend!

This scope punches way above its price point. With the scope on 6x magnification it is extremely clear. It is everything I expected from Vortex. I would buy one again.

Great scope. Sighted in at 50yards in 3 shots with my AR15. Definitely recommend.

Best LPVO for the price. Great glass only disappointment is illumination brightness.

I like it. I really like the off positions between each retical illumination settings. There are two problems I see with this optic that manufacturers could fix: 1. The lense caps are not robust and come off too easily. Beef these up! 2. Mounting rail is not included. Fix the above issues and this optic is definitely a five out of five stars.
