Bulky and brute
This worked well in South Africa for a safari at the game lodge we stayed in . We had a pair with one in the bathroom and one in the living room. These plugs charged all are devices and we always had something plugged into them.

Great plug but probably not necessary for resorts in Maldives
I bought this plug for a Maldives vacation, as it appeared this was the required prongs. However, the resort we stayed at worked with a European/UK square pronged adapter. As I travel to Europe regularly for work, I already had an adapter for that, so this ended up being unnecessary. If you are traveling for a resort vacation in the Maldives, I recommend checking with your specific resort for what adapters are needed as you may already have it. That being said, this is a quality adapter, the textured rubber on the adapter gives a great feel and even with wet hands can get a good grip. The 2 USB ports are really helpful too especially when traveling to charge all your devices (e reader, camera, phone, computer, etc). If I hadn't already had a working adapter this would have a been a great purchase.

Thailand electric transformer.
The product worked well everywhere I went. I loved the usb ports because I was able to piggy 2 additional items to charge at the same time. I would recommend this product since it was straight forward to use and add additional options. For example I charged my friends phone while I was charging mine.

USB is great! A bit pricey but works as advertised for travel to Switzerland
Used this during a 3-wk trip to Switzerland in 2018. It's a bit bulky, but compared to typical EU plug adapters it's not too much larger. The addition of 2 built-in USB plugs made it worth the cost & size though. All we needed to charge were phones. There were a few locations we visited that only had 1 accessible outlet, so being able to charge 2 devices at once was helpful. This also eliminated the need to carry around separate dedicated phone charger blocks. The USB rubber 'flap' was sturdy enough for this trip - it might rip off with long-term use, but that wouldn't matter too much. It even nicely lights up a bit when plugged in so you can see the ports, and confirm that electricity is available. More stylish than the usual industrial/boring white/black/beige plastic alternatives. Would recommend for travel, but maybe not if you're living there & need to plug in US-style devices. Many wall outlets there have 3 plugs arranged in a circle, and this doesn't really work well for that design. You can plug it into 1 of the 3, but the round base is too large and prevents plugging things in to the other 2 outlets. For outlets w/only 1 or 2 spaces (stacked vertically like in a US outlet) this would not be a problem. Won't like be able to afford another trip to Switzerland any time soon, but if/when we go back, this will be going too!
