Nice quality- Perfect length
I usually like the Costa Fathom cords, but after my second set broke, I figured I’d try a change. The rubber on these compared to the Costas is thicker and does not slide on the temple as much. I like the temple attachment vs the ear piece because of comfort (ear piece doesn’t dig into your head like cablz etc). The color , feel, and thickness of the material is really good. I also like that they’re on hinges that allows flexibility. Also, unlike the Fathoms, the length of these doesn’t need adjusting- perfect how they come. And- they’re Chums- made in USA!

Love ‘em!
I have several of these straps, but this color combination is my favorite. As a multidisciplinary artist, I may be hauling bags of ceramic clay, climbing a ladder for a mural, or just turning the art studio upside down for a project - my glasses tend to fly allll over the place. These retainers save them 95% of the time, they’re worth every penny! :-)

Love This Eyeglasses Strap
I tried three different kinds of eyewear strings/retainers/straps and this was my favorite. It looks good and serves its purpose. Before I got this string/retainer/strap, I kept taking my glasses off and on to read. I kept misplacing my glasses and finally broke them. This eyeglass string thingy keeps my glasses easily accessible and I won't break my new pair of specs.

Work fine
I need readers because I had cataract surgery. My optomitrist said that I would probably need -2.0 correction and that I could get readers on line or at Target. She was right. Got some -2.0 readers on Amazon and more at Target. All good. It is nice to have the readers on the string around my neck so I can probably find them. These are colorful, you might as well show a little color. Also the color helps them stand out from the other junk on my desk. The best thing about them is that the grips work on glasses that have narrow side arms. They don't slide off like the cheap ones that might come with the glasses. All of the readers have narrow side arms (that is what the sides are called). When you take the glasses off they dangle on your chest so you can easily put them back on when you need them. The glasses frequently come with small pouches which you can use if you are in a restuarant and it is just a little wierd to have your glasses dangling around your next the whole time. I have had good luck with these. After about a month I got a second pair. The length is not adjustable but that has not been a problem for me.

Sturdy but the Croakies loop & slider ones are better for me.
I’ve used Croakies woven fabric eyeglass holders for years and normally purchase them at Big 5. This Chums pair is much longer. I had to tie a knot in the fabric to shorten them. The fabric is the same but the little plastic loop holder is much larger and bulkier. I will say I’ve never had a loop fail with either brand. I wash the fabric regularly. I have these on my reading glasses which I wear daily from the time I get out of bed until I go to bed. I would buy these again if I can’t find the Croakies tite end style again.

Find your reading glasses
I use here to hold my reading glasses which I otherwise misplace. After about a year, the rubber piece that connects to your glasses breaks. For as much as I abuse them, no big deal.
