Monopoly Deal: World Peace in Card Form (For About 20 Minutes)
Absolutely brilliant. Monopoly Deal is everything you wish regular Monopoly was—fast-paced, full of drama, and won’t take five hours or end in someone flipping the board and storming off. Picked this up for the kids (ages 8 and 10), and it’s been an instant hit. They ask to play it daily—willingly, might I add—without even a hint of screen withdrawal. Miraculous. It’s the perfect mix of strategy, luck, and gleeful sabotage. One minute you’re sitting pretty with a full property set, the next someone slaps down a Deal Breaker and your empire crumbles. It’s brutal. It’s hilarious. It teaches resilience. And possibly low-level trickery. Rounds are quick (15 minutes-ish), setup is instant, and best of all—no tiny plastic hotels to step on barefoot. We've laughed, we've argued, we’ve formed alliances and betrayed each other gloriously—all within the space of a school night. Honestly, Hasbro nailed it. This is family gaming gold. Buy it, but be warned: your 8-year-old will destroy you with zero remorse.

Brilliant game
Great game, easy to play once your understand the rules. We play this with family and friends and it’s a good balance of laughs and strategy. The cards have last well so good quality so overall good value for the amount of uses we have had.

Great game! A must to have in.
A great game that's easy and quick to get the hang of, but a very fun and addicting game. Everyone I've played this with has loved it, I've played it with colleagues at work, on my travels with people in the hostel and at home with family and friends, an all around good game that can be played with as little as 2 people (although I think it's better with 3+) It's a small easily portable card game so a good one to keep with you whenever a short game of this may be necessary such as when travelling. Great value for money.

Perfect format for a quick Monopoly fix
We bought Monopoly Deal as a quicker, more portable alternative to the classic board game, and it’s now one of those games that gets played far more often than expected. It keeps the familiar Monopoly DNA (properties, rent, sneaky steals) but compresses it into a fast-paced card game that actually works brilliantly for short bursts. Games usually last around 10–15 minutes, the rules are easy to pick up, and it’s surprisingly tactical once everyone knows what they’re doing. It’s ideal for evenings when you want something competitive without committing to setting up a board or clearing the table for hours. The good: - Genuinely quick to play – most games are over in 15 minutes, sometimes quicker - Easy to learn – simple rules, even for people who don’t usually play card games - Portable – small box, perfect for travel, pubs, holidays, or throwing in a bag (which we’ve found ourselves doing - a lot!) - Still feels like Monopoly – property sets, rent cards, wild cards, and tactical steals - Good for a wide age range What could be better: - Can feel a bit ruthless – stealing properties and charging rent late-game can frustrate some players (bear this in mind if your playing with young ones!) If you like Monopoly in theory but don’t love the time, setup, or inevitable board-game fatigue, this is an excellent alternative. It’s fast, chaotic, and just strategic enough to keep things interesting without becoming heavy. One of those rare games that’s easy to recommend because it actually gets played rather than sitting on a shelf.

Fairly quick and fun games
Easy to learn, and suitable for all ages. Probably not as good as Uno, but highly likely to cause fewer arguments. Would be great for holidays and journeys.

This is a very fun game, a really good adaptation of the old Monopoly! I bought one for myself and one as a present. As good for 2 people as it is for 4 so brilliant overall!

Looks ok. I'm not sure about the 'special powers' element. I bought it as part of a birthday gift for an eight year old so haven't tried out the game yet. We really love regular Monopoly Deal so hoping this does not differ too far from the original. The original is perfect. Hoping this is similar. Quality looks fine.
