This is a third of the price of my previous lamp with way more features and fab quality. I will be buying more for my other rooms.

When you buy something that has a surprise, a remote! But why? Consider this, I bought two, for best lighting, and did think that placing one of them behind my screens on a desktop that is 90cm deep, just out of reach was going to be a pain for adjustments, not with a remote. The remote is very well put together control wise, can hold a button to dim/lighten or click for steps. Change the white color timer etc etc. Anyway, about the lamp itself, it's well built and strong, the actual light is an even spread of light, and at the strongest setting, emits more than enough luminance for desktop streaming use. I turn it down so it doesnt swamp out my LED colours from behind my monitors. But the fact i now have lighting choices depending on use cases is a win. There is also a 1 minute sleep option on top of the advertised 30/60 min options. The lamp head is 18cm squared rounded corrners. The unit came with UK 3 pin adaptor (I was under the impression that I had to use USB so this is a plus). I decided to spend a little more and get an okay white lamp for desktop that didnt take up much desktop space, this gave me more than i expected so happy days (or nights even).Edit: BUT... this is incompatible with smart plugs, sockets, and home automation because it defaults to the "off" position when switched on with for example, "Alexa turn lamp on", instead of starting up with the last saved state like it does when using the remote on/off - regular switch lamps don't get this wrong, how this failed on this simple thing, hmm

Love this lamp. I wanted something with dual purpose - that could serve both as a desk lamp and replace my terrible old ring light. This does both jobs so well. The fact it screws to the desk means it doesn't clutter the workspace, and being able to easily swivel the light panel to swap from desk light to light panel is great. I work with a window to a side and being able to fill the shadows in for when I need to be on camera in meetings and webinars has been a game changer. I recommended it to a few friends and they all love it.

Lots of positives. It seems sturdy, at least initially. It was so easy to set up. The remote works well and is a nice feature. One can use it in many ways, as a traditional desk lamp, to light you during a video conference or to boost the light on your desk. I find it attractive. So it does what I want and for a price much less than the first brand I found of this style.The negatives are: the arm is a bit stiff for turning at the bottom joint. The controls on the arm don't work by pressing them, you need to swipe them - that took me many days to figure out! But they work. I would have liked a white colour but that is a personal preference. I have had perhaps a couple of weeks, lets see how it wears over time. But for now, I am very satisfied and can recommend it.

I bought this based on customer reviews, having bought previous ‘video’ lights that were basically useless, or left a round ‘polo’ reflection on my glasses. This lamp is diffuse light, sturdy, and clamps well to the desk edge. It’s tall enough to rise above my large monitors and still highlight the side of my face normally in shadow, and easily adjustable for different light levels. The remote control is essential for me, as it’s behind everything on the desk. If it had a truly adjustable 360 degree base it would be 100% perfect. Please let note that I think it can only be turned 180 degrees at a time by first loosing 4 small Allen key grub screws, which is fiddly to do.

I got one to see how good it is and after I received it and checked it out I bought another one in that same hour!The lighting is perfect, strong, 3 different lights which is perfect, doesn't use a lot of power while using it!10/10

I've been looking for a desk lamp that illumines my work surface while providing an even light for my online work. This product does both things well. Highly recommend.
