Chamberlain B2211T 1/2 HP Smart Quiet Belt Drive Garage Door Opener with Battery Backup

I replaced a chain drive unit with this belt drive and haven't regretted installing it. The electric has gone out several times and the opener work great with the battery backup. Would pay again.

I bought this thinking a "smart" door opener would be compatible with Google Home. Silly me to assume, I guess. It's a fine device aside from that, but it is utterly fraudulent to refer to something as a smart device if it doesn't work with any of the major smart home systems.The other issue was the assembly instructions. There's no paper manual, you have to use a secondary app and follow video tutorials. This is useful in theory, but the tutorials left information out. They were also recorded by an AI voice generator, which reads too slowly and monotonously. It drove me crazy after several hours of listening to it.Does it work? Yes. Is it good? Yes. Has it been an overall pleasant experience? Absolutely not.

Setting up this garage door opener was easy, process was straightforward with clear instructions. Set up without a hassle and it works perfectly.
