Perfect substitute!
Added exactly the flavors I needed without having to use onion and garlic which messes with my stomach! Will purchase again! *also, I think it smells good!

Really enjoyed the flavor
From everything I've read about Asafetida, only a pinch is needed. This brand says it's pure, but I had to use much more to get the flavor. I am trying the pure resin next to see if there is a difference. If it is the same, I will update my post
