I have used Pure radios for years and they have never let me down. However I noticed one or two people had issues and so although I was a little hesitant I went ahead and bought one. I am so glad that I did because it is actually a great little radio. I like the tone -a lot of the cheaper radios sound a bit tinny but this one has a nice mellow tone (to my ear!). It can be powered from a USB socket and can also take 4 AA batteries which is a great backup. The best thing is that as it has a 5volt jack plug input socket, they do not really make this clear which is a shame because it is a big plus because I can run the radio using the power bank that I usually use to charge my phone, much better than an onboard rechargable because built in batteries on budget products fail sooner rather than later in my experience. It is pretty much self set up -just switch it on and it will scan and set the date/time etc. A really nice little radio.

A brilliant radio. PURE quality and practicality. Great price too. Brilliant crisp sound no annoying base overtones, superb all round ease of set up and use. Like the USB power set up, no out dated 3 pin plug. I recommend this radio and it certainly punches above its weight in my opinion

Loses a star as it does not come with a 3 pin plug, you will need to buy an adaptor if you want to run on the mains . Having said that do not let it put you off , this is a great little radio , good reception and sound quality. If buying for an older person or someone with aight impairment do them a favour and set it up for them, as the instructions are very small print. The display is very bright and clear and easy to read so once set up should be simple to operate. Overall a good value compact item .

Requires a USB type A socket for charging rather than a three pin. Another reason to keep older phone chargers or invest in an extension with usb. Bought for my Mum & simple to use once programme memory set. The compact size is great and it feels sturdy. Can use batteries, though the general tech trend is built-in rechargeable with usb-c to usb-c charging. Certainly no biggie at this price. Requires a slightly longer press to turn off, shorter press for standby. If bedside, you'll probably want to go in to system settings and set the bedtime schedule led backlight to dark/off. Decent sound on Bluetooth/as speaker. Multipoint (BT 5+) connection as standard. If your parent listens to YouTube content on maximum volume on their phone at strange hours, or even normal hours, under no circumstances pair it with the radio. Don't even tell them that it is possible. It'll help keep the crime statistics down.

The day it arrived the auto scan initially only found 51 DAB stations but managaged to find 1 to check the unit out. The next day I repearted the auto scan process and it found another 30 (80+ in all) but I heard a sharp 'crack' noise. Now the led screen shows the station & the program name but sadly it has no sound. I suspect the cracking noise was the speaker blowing. I'll wait until after the Christmas/New Year crazy period before trying to Return to Amazon.

An excellent portable DAB+ Radio plus Out of the box and working within minutes. Over 85 DAB+ stations although I am in a few miles of the transmitter and reception Is good . The sound and tone for a radio of this size are good. Easy to set up with 5 favorite stations . Bluetooth was very easy to pair and I can stream from my phone and tablet. The Fm reception is poor but why would I use it ? . The radio is light enough to be easily portable but at the same time it is stable when placed . I bought this for it's portability. Excellent on all counts.

Nice radio, clear sound, good looking. Can be used plugged in or with batteries.

Ho portato con me il Pure Elan One2 Portable DAB+/FM Radio con Bluetooth 5.1 durante le mie vacanze, e è diventato rapidamente uno dei miei gadget da viaggio preferiti. La portabilità è fantastica, ed è davvero facile da riporre nella borsa senza occupare troppo spazio. La qualità del suono è impressionante per un dispositivo così compatto. Che fossi a rilassarmi nella stanza dell’hotel o a godermi un pomeriggio di sole all'aperto, la radio offriva audio chiaro, nitido e con un ottimo volume. Adoro in particolare la funzione DAB+, che mi ha permesso di ascoltare una vasta gamma di stazioni digitali, quindi non mi sono mai trovato senza opzioni per musica, notizie o podcast. La funzione Bluetooth 5.1 è stata un grande punto a favore. Quando volevo ascoltare la musica dal mio telefono, la connessione è stata rapida e stabile, e la qualità del suono era altrettanto buona rispetto a quando l’ho usata per ascoltare la radio. Questo la rende davvero versatile—che voglia ascoltare la radio FM, le stazioni DAB+ o fare lo streaming di musica tramite Bluetooth, l'Elan One2 ha fatto tutto senza problemi. Anche la durata della batteria è stata eccellente. Sono riuscito ad usarla per diversi giorni di viaggio senza doverla ricaricare, il che l’ha resa molto affidabile per i lunghi tragitti. In generale, il Pure Elan One2 è una radio portatile fantastica che combina un ottimo suono, portabilità e tante funzioni. È stato il compagno ideale per le mie vacanze e sicuramente la riutilizzerò nei prossimi viaggi. La consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una radio da viaggio di alta qualità e versatile!

Radiootje heel gebruiksvriendelijk en heel handig dat je ook met batterijen kan werken maar..... Het lukt niet om enige ontvangst van FM of DAB te ontvangen, en dit op verschillende locaties. Zelfs buiten krijg je geen ontvangst. Te vermijden dus.
